  Just a quick shout out to the pharmacy at the PoCo Save-On-Foods. In particular, I'd like to mention Denise and her team. They take such good care of me, the follow up regularly, always ensuring I have the prescriptions I need. One of my prescriptions has to be mailed to the pharmacy and they always ensure it gets there on time. Definitely above and beyond. They also know me by name and always greet me when I come to the counter, which makes me feel seen and appreciated. This kind of customer service is becoming less common. I can't say enough good things about Denise and her team. Massive thanks to you all!

  That was the dirtiest I have ever seen the floors and they had the robot going around “vacuuming”. Pretty sure the robot wasn’t working properly…

  I always enjoy shopping at Save-On-Foods in Coquitlam Centre. The store is consistently clean and well-organized, offering a great selection of fresh, high-quality products. The meat and deli department is always spotless, and the products are fresh and excellent, which is one of the main reasons I enjoy shopping here. I also visit the Fresh Bar regularly, and I’m always impressed by both the quality of the produce and the excellent service. I especially want to thank Gita and Azi for their kindness, professionalism, and patience. They always make customers feel welcome and are a pleasure to deal with. The management team at this location is also friendly, responsive, and truly customer-focused. Overall, the level of customer service here is a step above many other grocery stores, and it keeps me coming back. Thank you to the entire team for such outstanding service.

  Prejudiced, racist cashier, Emma T. Was all smiles, courteous and nice to all the previous customers. Then when she got to me, no eye contact, no smile, no friendly greeting. Did not ask if have a more reward card, and did not ask if I wanted a bag. I paid with cash and she just threw my change in my hand. of course some of it fell. I just stood there with my hand open so that she could properly place it in my hand like a human being....still no eye contact. It's a pity that I have to deal with such unprovoked hatred on a regular basis... It was my first human interaction of the day, and I refuse to let the evil of others dictate my joy. I'm on a different level. But, not everyone is like me...

  I’ve been a regular customer at this Save-On-Foods for about a month. I work right across the street, so sometimes I come here twice a day during my break to grab something to eat and sometimes after work to buy groceries. Today, I did what I’ve done before: I grabbed a slice of pizza and a pastry and sat down in the common seating area inside the store to eat before paying, especially since there can sometimes be a long line at the checkout. While I was eating, two security guards approached me and treated me as if I were stealing. The way they spoke to me was rude and accusatory instead of simply and politely explaining that I needed to pay first. I explained that I had done this before and that I had absolutely no problem paying right away. I immediately got up, went to the checkout, and paid for everything. I completely understand that security has a job to do and that I probably should have paid first. However, they could have handled the situation with much more respect. They could also have waited to see what I did after I finished eating before judging me or assuming that I had no intention of paying. If I had actually tried to leave the store without paying, that would have been a completely different situation. After being a regular customer at this location, it was very unpleasant to be treated like a thief without even being given the chance to show that I was obviously going to pay. The issue wasn’t being asked to pay it was the way I was treated and judged before I had done anything wrong.
