  We love this saveon come here all the time. Wine staff and cashiers are all awesome. However today it was annoying where the meat skewers are, there were 3 signs for "souvlaki" and none of them were right, they actually had no souvlaki. Staff said they weren't supposed to change the signs. Would be better off with no signs then. So 3 things in a row we tried to ask for weren't what we thought. Took a lot of time to order in what was already a busy day.

  Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with the manager. The manager was rude, unprofessional, and treated us with disrespect, despite us being customers accompanied by our family and child. There was no proper explanation or communication before the interaction, and the way we were spoken to was completely unacceptable. No customer should be treated this way, especially in front of their family. If someone had treated me or my family like this in another situation, I would have seriously considered calling the police. I hope the business takes customer service and respectful behavior more seriously in the future.

  This SaveOn has the most comprehensive prepared food section, with all kinds of takeout items and a big bakery section full of beautiful cakes & treats. They also have a generous seating area. I highly recommend their freshly made chicken wings.

  not respecting customers!! the. so called guard treated my son like thieves of after buying some grilled chicken and acted like spies following hime all around while he tried to take some ketchup for his food after purchasing and he followed him just like detective ! then stopped him getting out. claiming i didnot see you pay and tried to get the purchased food from him and so my son was intimidated because the so called guard let him go out and did not even have uniforms or signs so my son thought he is a troublemaker….. only when he realized he was so afraid he wore the sign!!!!!! .so my son thought he is. going to hurt him !!! finally after making him extremely nervous and after he proved that the item had been paid without even single world of apologizing released him go while he couldn’t eat his purchased food and continue his summer class today…. the worst experience in this store was imposed to my son and our family in this store… imagine the world to a young boy: i will not allow you getting out of store with stolen food!!!!!( to innocent young guy) disgusting actions…. i reported the consequences to the management respectfully and explained if they have such experience with some others they shouldn’t treat everyone in Scary, disrespectful and immoral manner and pleased . to investigate how my son was accused insulted and intimidated just for purchasing some food and paying and now he is insisting not to go to the class in coquitlam after the bad experience and mentally traumatized it!!!!!!!!!

  Shame on you for selling what I consider to be substandard products to Canadian consumers, particularly your supposedly “non-antibiotic” chicken. To anyone considering buying these products, pay attention. A simple test can reveal what I am talking about. Place chicken thighs skin-side down in a frying pan over medium heat without adding any oil. Season with salt if desired. If the meat releases only fat from the skin, that is generally what you would expect. However, in my case, the pan ended up swimming in an excessive amount of liquid—far more than what I would consider normal. The quantity was so significant that it raised serious concerns about the quality of the product and whether it had been processed in a way that increased its weight. This has happened to me more than once, and I am extremely disappointed. While some moisture loss during cooking is normal, the amount of liquid released from this chicken was excessive and, in my opinion, unacceptable. While the store itself is clean, attractive, and generally well-presented, some aspects of product quality are simply not acceptable. Customers deserve better. Because of these repeated experiences, I will not be shopping here again. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and reviews the quality of the products being sold. Thank you.
