Most items are priced low
Great bulk section if you are into baking
Too much of their produce is from the US. It was a struggle to find anything we were looking for that wasn't US eg, all the peaches and plums were from US as were bagged carrots. Why not support local and sell BC carrots? I buy only Canadian or countries other than US if not available from Canada (eg, Mexico Peru, Chile Australia etc) Generally floor staff are very nice and helpful as are the cashier's. Same chain as Save On Foods so need a their card to get advertised sales. So if that's an issue for you, prices can be more expensive without the app/membership card. Unfortunately because of their focus on US produce, I will be shopping elsewhere going forward.
Visited Low Foods expecting to save money but ended up being scammed by their cashier employee who charged me for oranges that I didn’t buy for $4.50, went back expecting to be refunded saying that they made a mistake but ended up getting charged again for the refund amount that was supposed to go back into the bank. I ended up losing money instead of saving money. Please double check your receipt, you might be scammed! I’m reluctant to go back after losing my money!
After reporting the problem to the manager at Low Foods, they said they’re sorry and offer a $25 voucher for the inconvenient.
Over all, for fixing the problem quickly and helping with the lost, I give Buy-Low Foods. 3 Stars…
I am giving this store a 5 star, because of their wonderful employee, Mia.
On July 7, I returned to the Buy-Low Foods store because I realized I had accidentally left my black Walmart Mastercard behind.
Although the cashier, Mia, was busy serving customers, she immediately made sure the manager would be called to assist me. Once she had finished serving the customers at her till, she remembered the details of my situation and asked whether my card was black and whether I had left it earlier that day. When I confirmed, she confidently reassured me that the card had been found.
When the manager arrived, he checked the back but initially told me that the card was not there. Mia politely stated that she was quite certain it had been found and even remembered which manager had secured it. After checking again, the manager located my card.
Throughout the entire interaction, Mia remained calm, courteous, professional, and genuinely caring. She treated me with kindness, showed excellent attention to detail, and demonstrated a level of empathy that is becoming increasingly rare. Her professionalism and dedication gave me confidence that my card would be found.
I even asked whether I could buy her something as a small token of appreciation, but she graciously declined.
Employees like Mia are a tremendous asset to your company. She represents the kind of customer service that customers remember and truly appreciate. I sincerely hope her outstanding professionalism, integrity, empathy, and commitment to helping customers are recognized by the company. Thank you, Mia, for turning what could have been a very stressful situation into a positive experience.

2 stars only because the supervisor was extremely helpful.
Cashiers need better training.
Product was coming up at a higher price than what I saw listed at card member price.
I quickly ran to confirm the card price sticker, but prior I noticed that there was one couple behind me with a container of raspberries and thats it. No one else was in line. I pointed at them and said “they can go quickly first, I’ll be right back.”
My mistake, maybe this cashier can’t understand simple communication.
I come back maybe ~45 seconds later (4 aisles up from the till,) and she has begun ringing through another customer with an entirely full cart and asks me to wait.
Keep in mind, I had 3 items, their price was incorrect, and I went on my own to confirm the price to avoid the cashier having to leave the till.
Almost just left but saw a supervisor, who was very apologetic and rang me through quickly.
For the Cashier 0/5 stars.
For the supervisor 5/5
