  Very disappointing online pickup experience I picked up my online grocery order on August 9, and unfortunately there were enough issues with the order that I had to return to the store the following day to have them addressed. Several items were either missing or not properly fulfilled. I ordered two boxes of basa burgers, and both were removed from my order without a substitution (my order says substitution is fine). I also ordered a rotisserie chicken, which was not picked by the shopper. This left me with buns and no protein for the meals I had planned. The packaged spinach was wet, wilted, and expired the following day. The premade Caesar salad was supposed to include three packages of dressing, but none were included. The pasta was part of a combo package with the chicken and Caesar salad, but I was charged $11.99 separately for the pasta. I also ordered a platter of sandwiches, which arrived dry and not fresh. I was ordering this food for a camping trip, so these were not minor inconveniences. I am a single parent with two children and use curbside pickup because getting into the store is difficult. My car was also packed with camping equipment, so making another trip was particularly inconvenient. I had to drive back and returned to the store on August 10 with the affected items. The customer service staff were apologetic, which I appreciated, but they were unable to process the refund at the time. I was told that the refund would be returned to my original payment method along with the refund of the pick up fee and a small concession for my trouble. Instead, I received a store credit for the items returned the next day. I would appreciate the store manager looking into this order and the E-commerce picking process. My receipt lists the cashier as “McKenzie,” although I do not know whether that was the person who actually picked my order or the employee who processed the pickup. I would like management to determine who picked the order and review what happened. I understand that substitutions and out-of-stock items happen. What is concerning here is the number of issues with one order: multiple missing items, poor-quality produce, missing components, an incorrect charge, and sandwiches that were not fresh. I then had to return to the store the next day to resolve the problems. I would like this order to be properly investigated, including training of this employee and the E-commerce process reviewed so another customer does not have the same experience.
