  Biggest Rave to Inderpreet who is a fantastic example of customer service. Everytime he’s happy, kind and courteous. I would hire him without an interview at this point. However rant is to the deli department who are never “busy hands eagle eyes” as they keep their backs to the customer while you wait a while until they decide who will help and seem incredibly annoyed when they have to turn around and serve you. It’s not one specific person in that area, it’s the same way every time. Awkward to feel like I’ve burdened them.

  The girl in the deli section named Anshu was so polite . She helped me to choose and she gave me good suggestions although the store was too busy.

  I visited this Save-On-Foods yesterday, and honestly, this was one of the worst grocery experiences I’ve had in Vancouver. The biggest issue is with their hot food section. They sell prepared meals in plastic containers and then weigh the entire thing—including the container—when calculating the price. That means you’re literally paying for plastic as if it were food. It may not seem like much at first, but it absolutely adds up and feels misleading and unfair. What makes this worse is that this is not standard across all locations. At other Vancouver stores staff typically deduct the container weight before pricing hot meals, which is the fair and expected practice. The inconsistency between locations is frustrating and makes this particular store stand out in a bad way.

  Top notch customer service by wine department, especially Jasmine very knowledgeable.. Her recommendations always good!
