Made eye contact, didn't say a word and carried on mopping for another two or three minutes whilst carrying on a conversation with her colleague. The Ice cream was already half melted by the time it was received. Won't be coming to this DQ again.

My family waited in the drive-thru line before closing, arriving at the order speaker around 9:50 p.m. I repeatedly said, "Hello?" into the speaker but received no response for several minutes. Finally, at 9:57 p.m., a staff member answered only to tell us they were no longer making any kitchen items. What made this even more frustrating was that the car ahead of us had their order taken and their food was being prepared. As soon as it was our turn, the staff turned off the menu box light off and refused to take our order, despite the restaurant not being closed yet. It appeared that the kitchen had been shut down about 10 minutes before closing. If your posted closing time is 10:00 p.m, customers who are already in line before that time should receive the same service as everyone else. Closing the kitchen early and ignoring customers waiting in the drive-thru is unprofessional and unfair. I hope management addresses this with the staff and ensures that operating hours are honored so future customers don't have the same disappointing experience. Not the experience I wanted but sadly the staff needs better service etiquette.
