There are other vendors inside the train station with plenty of food, clothing, and merchandise to choose from. Kids love coming here and having a meal inside a train; it’s air conditioned and there is a lot of seating available. You can also take a picture sitting next to Ronald McDonald. The menu is reasonable and the staff is friendly.

The service here is honestly some of the worst I’ve experienced. Even when you clearly tell them you want fresh food and that you are willing to wait, they still refuse to make it fresh. What makes it worse is that the prices at this location are higher than any other McDonald’s in the High Desert. You would expect better quality since you’re paying more, but that is not the case here. I have tried giving this place several chances. I’ve gone through the drive-thru multiple times and even tried ordering inside the restaurant. Every time, my food has been cold, overcooked, or too salty. I always ask for no salt or light salt on my fries, and no salt on my meat, but they still give me food that tastes old, salty, and like it has been sitting out. I even took the time to speak with the shift manager, explaining my previous bad experience at this same restaurant. I expected her to care and make sure my order was correct this time. But even after talking to management, the food still came out wrong and not fresh. It’s really frustrating to spend your hard-earned money at a place that doesn’t value quality or customer service. For the prices they charge, customers deserve fresh food, respect, and a better experience. Unfortunately, this location fails at all three.
