I ordered two large strawberry shakes on the app. Pulled up the the Drive thru around 950 pm. The guy tells me pull up to the stalls and check in with the app. I go to check in.... What do you know your app is not working... I go back to drive thru the team member now ignores me. I can't even cancel my order. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. I PAID FOR SOMETHING YOUR LOCATION WOULDNT EVEN FULFILL. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE.
My boyfriend and I placed a pick up order on the app on Thanksgiving 2025 the app didn’t mention anything about the restaurant being closed, I even tried calling the restaurant which doesn’t seem to have a working phone number, so we went to go pick up our orders and it was completely closed. I just don’t understand how the app let us place orders for pick up without informing us that the restaurant was closed. Really really really inconvenient, a waste of gas, time and money, we still haven’t received our refunds.

Went to this location like I ALWAYS do, for a drink. One drink, yes again one drink. It was not raining at the time anymore, I have video to prove in case they tell their manager it was. I drive up to the order taker, checked in, my drink never came, until I pressed the button they told me to come to the window and pick it up. So I did, asked what size that was since I thought it was the wrong size, the black man who was at the window said “it’s what you ordered” I asked again, he replied the same am closed the window, lie I’m the one who did something wrong here. My drink had been sitting there getting watered down and that’s exactly what it tasted like. I will not be back to this location, you lost a loyal customer as I live closer to this location than any other one. Disgusting people and service. Do better, and if that was some kind of supervisor, good luck with that. If the issue was it was raining, it wasn’t, they are just lazy.
Some of the reviews for this location are ridiculous. I ordered 2 drinks. Strawberry limeade and a coke. Nothing spectacular....just 2 drinks. Service was just fine. There were only 2 cars in front of me. Got my drinks in under 10 minutes. It's fast food not a dine in restaurant with a dress code. With that being said people should take it easy on places like this. You get what you pay for. The fact that some people who made a review identifying someone's race is outrageous. Says more about the person leaving a review then the Sonic employee.This is one of the better Sonics in Bakersfield in my opinion. Never had an issue with my orders from here.
