This is a great location and has some comparisons worth drawing with the SLO location. This place has the feel and layout much more akin to the pre-remodel SLO Vons, that is to say, it makes sense. The produce is good quality, though a somewhat smaller selection than SLO. Random items in almost every section appear in this location versus the other, but I can't think of any direct ones right now. The meat department seems more lively and curated than the SLO location, but the bakery is a little smaller. The deli is great but has a reduced focus on fried chicken compared to the SLO one as well. Overall the prices do seem a little lower in atascadero, but they are very similar. Great Vons.
