- CLCarolynn LarnerMar 28, 20262.02 weeks ago I celebrated my B/D with dinner at the Derby in Arcadia. Excellent meal and great service from Luciano. Our favorite restaurant for special events. My husband always tips generously when there, rightly so. Tonight was my husband’s B/D and he suggested we try some place different. He kept having to apologize to me. Food was too spicy, his meat was cooked medium and not medium rare. Kyle our waiter was very attentive and changed my salad because it was too spicy for me. My husband’s Jack on the rocks was a good stiff pour. Overall we would have been better at In n out with desert at home. We won’t be back to the Outback in Arcadia. My husband tipped Kyle well who kept apologizing as we told him his service was exceptional, but he wasn’t the cook.
