- RRrk1 day ago1.0I am EBT recipient and very grateful to county that I am may buy groceries to feed my family. From what I have observed this particular store seems to be having a policy of shaming recipients of EBT allow me to explain.. An additional benefit, recipients are not charged for grocery bags. An associate calls a manager to deduct the cost of a bags adjustment. Hence holding up the line wasting the time of the customers waiting, therefore giving a sense of shame bringing attention from customers waiting to go home and cashiers and staff as well. I feel this is a type of discrimination of persons who require assistance to feed their families. Message given this type of payment from a customer is not welcome at Albertsons.
