Went to Albertsons yesterday 11/20. The lady before us was by herself and had to bag over $400.00 by herself. My husband and I spent over $320.00. again I bagged all the groceries. Where are your baggers? Stater brothers has so many!! Guess I will go back to stater brothers from now on. Very dissatisfied. Especially with the holidays.

Always come to this store and everyone is fairly nice except the old black guy Antwon from the meat section. We asked the lady nearby if the meat section was open because we never go there. Upon calling "Antwon" he greeted us with a horrible attitude and proceeded to tell the worker "I started closing because there was nobody , and they see the lights are off so now they want to come" we ultimately just said nvm because of how uncomfortable he made us feel especially because of the tone of his voice he genuinely sounded pissed off. No shade i would be too if i was that old still having to work in the meat section of an Albertsons but hey that was your life choice not mine im just here to buy my food not have to deal with grown men that can't handle their emotions while at work, remember you get paid to be there and have professionalism.

The Worst Customer Service — Employee Said My ‘Eyes Were Deceiving Me,’ Manager Refused to Help, and I Felt Discriminated and gaslit I had one of the most disrespectful experiences I’ve ever had in any store, and it happened at this Albertsons. I went in to return juices and modify my receipt. I walked to the customer service desk where an employee named Susan was standing. She did not look at me, did not greet me, did not acknowledge me in any way. I stood there and she completely ignored me. Finally, I said, “I guess no one’s going to acknowledge me,” because she literally acted like I wasn’t standing there. She finally mumbled something I couldn’t hear. When I asked what she said, she softly told me she’d be right with me. After about 3 minutes she decided to help me I explained what I needed and She told me she could modify my receipt and to go grab my item. I handed her my receipt and went to get it. I was gone less than a minute and when I came back she was gone and having a conversation with a woman in the checkout line another store associate in the checkout line noticed and asked if I needed help I waited again while Susan continued socializing. I finally asked her if she was going to continue helping me or continue to have a conversation, and she told me: “No, I am not. Your eyes are deceiving you.” I told her, “No, they’re not. I can see just fine.” She repeated it, refused to help me, and walked off to the back. A manager named DJ came out. He didn’t greet me, didn’t ask what happened, didn’t try to understand. As I explained, he interrupted and told me: “Why are you taking it out on me?” I told him your the manager your tag says manager I’m telling you what happened of course I’m going to be upset and he responded by saying; “You get the respect you give.” I told him I was respectful and that Susan ignored me and then left me waiting after she sent me off but he didn’t care. I also told him that he’s been rude every time I shop there. He denied it and said he always greets customers and is trying to help me. Here’s something important: I am Mexican. DJ and Susan are Caucasian. I have had multiple experiences where DJ greets white customers with: “Hi, how are you?” “Hello, how’s your day going?” But when it’s my turn, I get nothing. No greeting. No eye contact. No acknowledgment. Just silence — and then I’m the one treated like the problem. After I explained everything and reiterated that he and several other employees are rude he said so why do you keep shopping here which I responded that I shop here because it’s the only Albertsons in the high desert and the store is not the problem it’s the service and asked him why did he work here if he didn’t like customer service or his job. I told him that he and his employees have an air about them like we the customers are coining into their private space and taking the food for free out of their mouths and any ask for assistance is too much of an inconvenience, he got mad and said I’m not helping you you can go and I was not able to resolve what I went in there for. A manager told me to leave instead of resolving the issue after his employee refused to help me. This isn’t just bad customer service — it’s dismissive, disrespectful, and feels discriminatory. I sincerely hope this is taken seriously because customers should not be treated this way.

I love shopping at Albertsons because they have the best meat selection and you can’t beat their weekly add deals on things like cookies, chips, bacon, cheese etc. but I am honestly sick of the poor customer service and bad attitudes of the staff- it’s very disheartening when the managers allow it and have the same attitudes themselves. The manager or 4th Manager Dj- tall heavy set guy with red hair is a jerk. I’ll watch him say hello and nicely greet the person in line in front of me but when it comes to me he doesn’t say a word. One day I even asked him are you ok you always seem like you’re in a bad mood like you don’t want to be here he was so mad he turned red but at that point I had had it with his attitude I’m a paying customer I’m not gonna be held to a higher standard than the person I’m giving my money too if he has a bad attitude I’m gonna shoot it right back. Yesterday my sister had a very terrible experience in the store with him and I couldn’t believe it. I really thought it was just me, but obviously he treats other people like this as well.

I'm a regular at the location in apple valley, California. There's a cashier named Janet that needs to relearn how to handle customer service. Every time I go in, I try to avoid her because she is rude. Today she snapped me for not using the app when I always just select my deals on the app and use my phone number at the register. She's very unprofessional.
