Since it's the holidays, I was pretty low on cash today and asked if they could take off whatever they need to make it within my budget. I have been struggling financially and couldn't help but tear up out of embarrassment being declined to first run-around. I'm not sure if they saw but even so - I get home and open up the food for my beau, and I was surprised with what I asked for originally. I've had such a long month and to be surprised by such kindness really brought me to tears and I wanted to give a big virtual hug and thank you for being so kind. A lot of people/businesses aren't patient and kind the way Dad's BBQ was with me today so I wanted to take the time to recognize that and thank you so so very much. I will definitely be returning with lots of money for more food and a well, WELL deserved tip. (To clarify, I don't want this review to seem as "hey get your freebies over here, just shed a tear!" Sort of thing. I just wanted to thank the business - especially that sweet little girl and who I assume was her father in the truck today) God bless and I can't wait to go back!!
