It’s a Safeway, nothing super special about this one however the customer service has always been great. They have good selections in the deli and ready to eat hot food all the time. Lots of donuts too and a Starbucks inside. The Safeway pharmacy inside has always been smooth for me as well.

I was visiting my daughter that lives in Anderson, and was having a difficult time finding my favorite jerky (I have to order it online, where I live in Montana). I was very fortunate to find out that this Safeway carries my jerky brand, and had all my favorite flavors. The employee that helped me went the extra mile to find out that they carried it, and showed me exactly where it was located. They were incredibly helpful, and I appreciated all that they did to help me.

My biggest complaint here is items advertised, especially meat which has become so spendy today, is not in the store the day the sale ad prices kick in. I think that stinks. This has happened twice. The sale price of in stock sale items is great and that's the reason I didn't give this store a 1 star rating.

My husband and I were at the self checkout with our daughter, purchasing donuts along with some snacks and food for later. I was wearing an oversized graphic tee with leggings and he was wearing a hoodie with joggers with our daughter in the cart. We wanted to pay half cash and half card. The couple and a guy besides us paid in cash. The register we were at said “assistance” when he chose the cash option but it didn’t do that for them. The worker (Sandra) brought my husband over to the front, saying she had to take it up to the front but she was stuttering while talking. We thought it was weird because it didn’t do that with anyone else. We didn’t have liquor or anything that needed an ID and she gave my husband attitude. We never had trouble doing half and half and no one did that until she did. We weren’t a big fan of her attitude she had towards us and thinking we weren’t going to pay.
