  It’s a tiki bar in the center of the Disneyland resort. It’s overpriced but they are good drinks and solid food.

  Service was mediocre, particularly at the podium. We were seated at a low-level table at the bar, which felt like a kiddy table in the corner. Disappointing experience overall. Also, not having drink prices on the menu was frustrating.

  We came here twice on our latest Disney trip. We had never been to this location. We were pleasantly surprised. After trying unsuccessfully for weeks to get reservations, we decided to go in the morning for breakfast. Until 5pm they will seat children inside the bar. No strollers and max 5 people. No stroller parking. We had breakfast one day with cocktails while our kids and grandkids did Goofy’s Kitchen. The food was good and the drinks were fantastic. Totally worth it to start a full day at Disneyland here. It’s easier to get a spot inside in the mornings for sure. We were the only ones there for the first half hour. The second day we came here for brunch. Sat outside with the kids and had a lovely meal with great cocktails. It’s Disney, so the prices reflect that… but still, it was a fun experience for all of us. Biggest disappointment, not meeting Kelly Merrill. But we will try again next time we’re down here.

  Gotta say, not the best first impression with Trader Sam’s. We came and joined the waitlist on a Friday night and were told it would be a 45 minute wait. We went to Broken Spell Lounge while we waited. Around 15 minutes later, we got the text to return to Trader Sam’s within 10 minutes or lose our table. So we did. We knocked back our drinks at Broken Spell and walked over to Trader Sam’s. But then we were told to wait off to the side because our table wasn’t ready yet. And after we were seated, we didn’t even see our server for another 15 minutes or so. This was very irritating because we felt rushed for no reason. Why call us over if you weren’t ready to serve us? Why tell us it was a 45 minute wait when it was more like 15? We could have enjoyed our drinks at Broken Spell if you weren’t going to seat us or take our order after you called us. 

Drinks were good. Tables are kinda hot even though it’s outdoor seating as they have tiki torches lit.

  Went to celebrate my friend’s birthday, the coconut cake was delicious and the cocktails were exceptionally well made. I got a souvenir mug, I’m sure it will last forever, really good quality. The downside it’s that they’re remodeling the indoor restaurant area and we sat outside, impeccable vibes though
