The second you step inside, you’re whisked away to an island paradise full of laughter, energy, and that unmistakable Disney magic. The theming is incredible — every sound effect, every flicker of light, and every little surprise adds to the fun. A huge shout-out to our bartender, Jordan, who truly made the night unforgettable! He was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make the experience magical. He walked us through the drink menu, gave awesome recommendations, and made the whole evening even more entertaining with his great sense of humor and amazing energy. You can tell he loves what he does! The drinks were phenomenal — fun, tropical, and bursting with flavor — and the food was delicious too. Whether you sit inside to experience all the interactive effects or outside under the tiki torches surrounded by twinkling lights, Trader Sam’s never disappoints. If you’re visiting Disneyland Resort, Trader Sam’s is an absolute must-do. - EFElten FridayNov 5, 20255.0I didnt know this was disney and decoded to go. Parking is interesting but once you get to the actual bar its great. The drinks are great and you can buy the cups! I love tiki and it was a great time despite it being Disney. They have some food but we just got the drinks and the mugs. Staff were very sweet. Shout out to the parking lady who helped us find the restaurant.

The concept is perfect for Disney. Performance, theater, and escapism are always what tiki bars have been. The imagineering team are the perfect crew to pull off the "we all know we're in a landlocked hotel, let's have fun with it" schtick. And of course, the cocktails are proper. Blends of interesting rums, classic recipes, and made with technique - not pre-batched like many performative Disney bars. So often, Disney restaurants feel derivative in the pursuit of perceived class or nostalgia. But with Trader Sam's, that actually adds to the effect and has created a genuinely world-class entry in the category.

Was in town for work and able to walk right up, sit at the bar and get a bite and drink. The pulled pork sweet potato fries were heavenly. Shipwreck on the rocks was so good and I loved how the bar came to life when you ordered it and other special drinks. 10/10
