This is about the fifth time I have been to Oga’s and the drinks are always good but the disappointing lack of food choices was not good. We had an amazing cheese bread but that was the only option, they used to have more choices.

I really enjoyed the two visits to the cantina, the staff is friendly and attentive, the drinks yummy, and the atmosphere very cool. There’s lots to look at, and a droid DJ spinning toons. The drinks are very expensive, but so is everything else in Disneyland, so it wasn’t any different from anywhere else. There’s the 45 minute time limit, but there’s too much to do in the park to spend that much time in any one place anyway. I had a great time (plus, with my birthday pin, the bartender wished me a happy origin day!).

My partner and I went twice during our stay over two days. The bar looks cool and follows the Star Wars theme well with pretty good themed drinks. Expect to spend about $15-20 for each item. As you've probably seen from other reviews, there is a two drink limit and 45 maximum time. A point of frustration is that most of the tables are standing tables where you are frequently placed with another group if you don't have a large group of at least six. This can either be a positive or negative feature. The first time we went, we were placed with a nice bunch. The second time, however, another group was placed after us that kept slowly pushing us off the table. Also, after being on your feet all day, standing in a crowded bar doesn't give much reprieve. To get in, you have to join a virtual waist list before getting in the line outside of the cantina. Both times, we followed the system properly but there were groups in front of us who had joined the physical line without joining the wait list first. Instead of making them leave the line and follow the very easy instructions within the app, the cast members walked them through the entire process and then checked them in before us, so they entered the bar ahead of us. It is very frustrating to follow the rules and then see people be prioritized who did not follow the rules. Lastly, despite this being a bar and previously being an adult-only experience, it is now filled with children. The only requiremnt to get in is to have at least one 14+ year old member of the party. With the tall standing tables and seedy bar atmosphere (as it is in the movies), it doesn't seem appropriate to allow young children into the establishment, let alone groups of entirely minors. Also, with the standing tables, both times we visited, we saw at least a couple small kiddos running around/playing; with how little space there is in the bar, they were bumping into people not in their parties and nearly bumping into cast members with trays full of drinks. They do offer snacks and non-alcoholic beverages but, again, it doesn't feel appropriate to being so accommodating to minors in a bar. While I understand parents still wanting to experience the cantina, adults also deserve to have one spot in the large park that can be child-free.
If you are a Star Wars fan and already at Disneyland, it's worth a visit but I would strongly dissuade someone from going for the sake of visiting Oga's.

It’s the only bar in DL so set your expectations appropriately. It’s going to be crowded and noisy. Also: the Angry Bloody Rancor is maybe one of the better Bloody Marys I’ve ever had.
