My partner and I went twice during our stay over two days. The bar looks cool and follows the Star Wars theme well with pretty good themed drinks. Expect to spend about $15-20 for each item. As you've probably seen from other reviews, there is a two drink limit and 45 maximum time. A point of frustration is that most of the tables are standing tables where you are frequently placed with another group if you don't have a large group of at least six. This can either be a positive or negative feature. The first time we went, we were placed with a nice bunch. The second time, however, another group was placed after us that kept slowly pushing us off the table. Also, after being on your feet all day, standing in a crowded bar doesn't give much reprieve. To get in, you have to join a virtual waist list before getting in the line outside of the cantina. Both times, we followed the system properly but there were groups in front of us who had joined the physical line without joining the wait list first. Instead of making them leave the line and follow the very easy instructions within the app, the cast members walked them through the entire process and then checked them in before us, so they entered the bar ahead of us. It is very frustrating to follow the rules and then see people be prioritized who did not follow the rules. Lastly, despite this being a bar and previously being an adult-only experience, it is now filled with children. The only requiremnt to get in is to have at least one 14+ year old member of the party. With the tall standing tables and seedy bar atmosphere (as it is in the movies), it doesn't seem appropriate to allow young children into the establishment, let alone groups of entirely minors. Also, with the standing tables, both times we visited, we saw at least a couple small kiddos running around/playing; with how little space there is in the bar, they were bumping into people not in their parties and nearly bumping into cast members with trays full of drinks. They do offer snacks and non-alcoholic beverages but, again, it doesn't feel appropriate to being so accommodating to minors in a bar. While I understand parents still wanting to experience the cantina, adults also deserve to have one spot in the large park that can be child-free. If you are a Star Wars fan and already at Disneyland, it's worth a visit but I would strongly dissuade someone from going for the sake of visiting Oga's.

It’s the only bar in DL so set your expectations appropriately. It’s going to be crowded and noisy. Also: the Angry Bloody Rancor is maybe one of the better Bloody Marys I’ve ever had.

Not the best experience for Disney. I know it’s the end of the day but we literally flew in from North Carolina. Should have just stayed in the east coast and gone to Disney world.

I was part of a party of 5, 3 adults and 2 children. 1st issue was when they brought us to a bar counter island that was HIGHER than the 2 children. It came to their eyebrows. 2nd issue was when I asked for stools or a chair. Something so that my two kids can actually sit at the counter. Server said no. So my kids smacked their head TWICE on the counter that was EYEBROW LEVEL! 3rd issue was when a table cleared and we asked if could switch, so the kids could actually sit down and participate instead of being bored staring at a wall and floor. Server said no, that spot at the table was taken for a STROLLER! Not for a child in a stroller, nope it was an EMPTY STROLLER! They took the two chairs that my kid could use away to fit the EMPTY STROLLER. 4th issue was when the drinks were served. They placed glass drinks...on a table....that my kids could NOT REACH! I looked at the server and asked again...for stools or a chair or something. For the very obvious point of ....the counter being too high for children. Sever did not respond. So, for those that have kids, let's make a math equation. Glass cups + Too high of a countertop + children bringing cups under the counter = Surprise, surprise, my kids dropped their GLASS CUP and it shattered on the floor. 5th issue was when I asked to talk to someone and the server said that the only way I can make a complaint is to have a phone app. Why were a 5 yo and a 6yo given glass cups? Why couldn't they get a stool or chair to sit down on? Why was an empty stroller allowed to take up 3 chairs that had to be removed to fit the stroller?
