  The pancakes, the waffles, the French toast all taste like cake. The sausage tasted like chicken and soap mixed together I would never come again. The food was horrible and it’s costing over 100 bucks. McDonald’s is better than this

  I was pleasantly surprised by how good of an experience I had here. Walking up I didn't know what to think of the quality I was about to get because it's literally right next to the pool. But for dinner, it was quiet, it was a really nice view of the hotel and the burger. Man. This burger. Quite possibly one of the best burgers I've ever had. I had my doubts because of price but it was so juicy, so flavorful and so large. Very filling. Would definitely come back here!

  Went to Craftsman Bar to watch game 7 of the World Series and couldn’t believe how this staff treated us! They initially told us there was a 90 minute limit at the table which we said no problem. Our server David was amazing! Very friendly, gave good recommendations, and we were having a great time chatting with him. We were continuing to order food and drinks throughout the game and had a pretty big bill so it’s not like we were sitting there not spending money and holding up a table. Our server said we were good and since we were ordering more drinks we were fine to stay especially since there wasn’t a huge line and there were multiple open tables all around us. He even offered to get us blankets to keep warm which was very kind! As he went to get us blankets, the manager Nick comes over out of nowhere and says our time is up and we need to close out and leave. He was very rude about it and as a manager, needs to learn how to communicate better. I spent $800 for a room there, spent over $300 on their overpriced food and drinks and was told to leave?! Our server came back and we told him what had happened and he felt bad and the manager definitely put him in an awkward situation with his customers which’s is so unprofessional! So we said fine and decided we would go watch the rest of the game in the bar area. I put my card on the bill and before the server could come take it, a busboy named Andy comes up to our table and in a nasty tone says you guys are past your 2 hour limit and need to leave. I couldn’t believe how rude and disrespectful these employees are… We go over to the bar area to continue watching the game. They didn’t put anyone at our table for almost 25 minutes and did not have any other groups waiting to be seated. But Nick and Andy sure enjoyed standing at the bar watching the rest of the game. So I guess we were pushed out so they could stand on the clock and watch the game instead of letting customers spend money. You would think these employees would treat you kindly with The Grand Californian being the most expensive hotel at Disneyland. Between customer service and overpriced food and drinks, we probably won’t be back which is a bummer since David and the bartenders were so nice!

  We had a reservation and we were seated in a reasonable amount of time. We knew what we wanted. (A pizza that had pep sausage arugula blistered tomato) We placed our order immediately and the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The pizza was wonderful. The crust was fresh and tasty with a very nice texture. The cheese was plentiful and you could tell it was a high quality low moisture mozzarella. There were cheese and pepper packets available. The cheese packets were very good and leveled up the flavor. It definitely didn't need it, but I used an entire cheese and pepper packet for each slice and I was in heaven. I would come here again for sure

  Why would your online system let us book a breakfast reservation when you are closed. Thanks for nothing! Why is only the bar open serving only drinks at 8am.
