This is such a great spot in New Orleans Square. The atmosphere can be a bit chaotic, especially at check-in. Guests tend to crowd the area in front of the restaurant so it can get overstimulating. The restaurant is a tad bit cramped but I understand that they want to be able to seat as many guests as possible. The food has been good here and the trusty Monte Cristo is a definite must-get if you haven't tried it already.

I found plastic in my gumbo. No one apologized. The server said they would take both gumbos I ordered off our tab but when we got our bill they just took off one. I mentioned that and told them don’t worry about it and then I got a reply from the server saying “well you are paying with a Disney visa so you’ll get an extra 10% off your bill” as if I was looking for a handout. It was a horrible experience and wouldn’t recommend. We went with 2 kids and 2 adults and got some starters and kids meals but they forgot our napkins and utensils we had to keep asking about to eat. Seemed like they kept rushing us trying to take our plates while my kids were eating. Very frustrating experience

Our first visit here. Glad we made it!
What a charming spot. But the real reason we are here is for the food.
My husband wanted to try their gluten free, vegan tomato risotto (he has celiacs disease and vegan). He enjoyed every bite! Definitely appreciate the flavors and creativity in this outstanding dish, thank you to the chef who came up with this one.
I ordered the monte cristo. I have enjoyed this in the past. Evidently way way in the past.
The updated version is not for me. Too much bread. I preferred the layered "club sandwich" version. The ingredients seemed more evenly enjoyed with each bite as the slices of bread were thinner.
We will return (as long as the risotto is on the menu) and I will try something else.
Overall a good experience.

Orleans Café is one of those places that consistently delivers comfort food done right. Every visit reminds me why it’s a go-to spot when you’re craving something hearty and satisfying.
The braised beef short rib was the standout — incredibly tender, slow-cooked to perfection, and packed with rich, savory flavor that practically melts in your mouth. You can tell it’s made with care and patience. The Cajun chicken had just the right kick of spice without being overpowering, juicy on the inside with a nicely seasoned crust that keeps you going back for another bite.
And don’t sleep on the shrimp Alfredo — creamy, smooth sauce that coats the pasta perfectly, with plump, well-seasoned shrimp that taste fresh and flavorful. It’s indulgent in the best way.
Portions are generous, the food comes out hot and fresh, and the service is friendly and efficient. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing a quick bite, Orleans Café hits the mark every time. Highly recommend if you’re looking for solid comfort food with bold flavors done right.

Booked for 6pm for dinner and overall it was just ok and not worth it. The check in process is ridiculous having to wait in line to check in with the one person with the tablet while there's 4 other employees standing around staring. After that's done you have to wait for the text then wait in line again to let that one employee know you got the text 😐
Once inside service was really good and fairly quick. We had the Cajun chicken and the turkey and ham Monte Cristo. The chicken was actually pretty bland and not very moist. Wouldn't recommend especially for $29! The sandwich was actually quite good and the aioli that comes with it super good but not enough to ever recommend the higher cost of eating here.
