The person in the background told him to come back in one hour, which is a total waste of time. I called to talk to a manager and nobody answered. I was on hold going back-and-forth through the loop for nine minutes. What is going on Safeway? This is a disaster. Shame on you.

You walk up to the counter and they make eye contact with you and just go into the back without saying a word and 5-10 minutes (which is a while if you are just standing there waiting) later they or someone else comes out from the back and asks if they can help you. They never say thanks or have a good day. It's just silence after you politely ask for something. I've had less pieces of items in the bag when I buy stuff like an 8 piece chicken combo or something like that. Twice they point me to go to the counter, I go an wait jn line, and then I get to the counter and they say it's out. And it's the same employee who sent me to the counter. Just the worst Safeway in my area and it's been like this for a few months at least.
