Today, one of the young employees went above and beyond trying to help me with an order issue on the self-serve screens. When the system wouldn’t allow me to get a large coffee with my meal, she kindly assisted me at the front counter instead. Unfortunately, during this interaction, the morning manager (an older woman, whom I assume is the shift manager) began yelling at her in an extremely unprofessional and demeaning way — loud enough for customers to hear. This is not the first time I’ve witnessed or overheard this manager speaking to employees in such a harsh and humiliating manner. It seems to be a regular behavior for her, almost as if she feeds off it, and what’s worse, other managers appear to allow it to continue unchecked. It’s genuinely disappointing to see such treatment toward employees who are simply doing their best, many of whom are young students just trying to work hard and provide good service. The McMarro franchise should not tolerate this type of behavior from management. That being said, the restaurant itself is clean, the food is consistently good, and the rest of the team — including the young woman who helped me today — was incredibly respectful and kind. I sincerely hope this issue is addressed, as the employees deserve to work in a supportive and respectful environment.

My orders have always been correct and fresh. Even when I'm directed to park and wait for an order item to finish cooking, it's never a very long wait. I'm very impressed by this "McMarro" location.
