  We went in for lunch at 12:30 PM and the restaurant was pretty empty. We were told there would be a 20-minute wait. I asked why, considering how empty it was, and was told there was only one waitress on shift. We decided to walk out.

  I had a fantastic experience at this location! The food was served hot, fresh, and exactly as ordered. The salmon was perfectly seasoned and paired beautifully with the creamy bow-tie pasta and roasted vegetables. We also shared a cheese pizza that had a great crust and just the right amount of herbs. You can't go wrong with their classic soup and salad starter, either—the tomato basil soup was delicious. The restaurant has a great, energetic vibe that’s perfect for a family dinner or a casual night out. Staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Overall, it was a wonderful dinner with generous portions and great flavor. I’ll definitely be back next time I'm in Red Deer!

  Trinity at the Red Deer Eastside Mario's was AMAZING, she was super informative about the menu, and noticed the second we needed anything at all. Her personality is bright and shining and I don't think I've ever met anyone so happy. Especially on a busy mother's Day evening.

  Our server was great, super kind and friendly. However - being the Chain restaurant that it is - Eastside Marios food keeps lowering their standards on the quality and quantity of food. Crazy when you have to ask for a side of sauce because most of the pasta is still plain noodles, and then they charge you $2-$3 for it... absolutely ridiculous. They sure dont like it when you mention having a promo card, or CAA discount etc. They always seem reluctant and try to come up with a reason not to just give you the 10% discount on a $150-$200 bill. This is at every Eastside Marios location we've been to in the country.

  We ordered online, two mains and two salads. Unfortunately when the order showed up we were missing one of the entrees. We called the restaurant and here’s where the 5 star experience comes in. They were incredibly apologetic and worked very hard to right the situation! We received several call backs following the progress of the new entree on its way. Checking in to see if we received the order yet and nearly sending a 2nd replacement because of the wait. They were wonderful to deal with after this mistake. I couldn’t expect anything more from a restaurant to reconcile the situation. Thank you East Side Mario’s!!
