I’m disappointed because this could have been a completely different review.
I was at Montana’s the night before and had the beef ribs, which were absolutely amazing. While I was paying my bill, I asked when wing night was. The person serving me said I had missed it, but mentioned that the following day was all-you-can-eat ribs. I specifically asked, “Even the beef ribs?” and was told, “Absolutely.”
Since I was staying at the hotel and was working in the area, having a convenient restaurant right in the hotel was a big plus. So, on September 2, I specifically came back for the all-you-can-eat ribs.
When I arrived at approximately 4:20 p.m., there was a sign at the entrance saying, “Please wait to be seated.” I waited around 10 minutes before someone finally came to seat me.
Once seated, I ordered a Pepsi and told the server that I wanted the all-you-can-eat beef ribs. That’s when I was told that the beef ribs were not included and that only the baby back ribs were part of the all-you-can-eat promotion.
I explained that I had specifically been told the previous evening that the beef ribs were included. At that point, I decided to leave rather than order something different. Unfortunately, I had already ordered and paid $4.19 for a Pepsi that I never even touched. The bartender later told me not to worry about the drink, but I had already paid for it.
I’ll give credit where credit is due: the beef ribs I had the night before were excellent. However, I made a special trip back based on information I was given by the staff, only to find out that information was incorrect. Add the wait at the entrance despite the restaurant being relatively quiet, and the experience was frustrating.
I travel to this area frequently for work, and this was my first time staying at this hotel. I really liked the convenience of having a restaurant right in the hotel, and I genuinely would have returned regularly. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad impression. Accurate communication about promotions would have made all the difference.
We had a great experience at Montana’s BBQ. Manager Nisha provided excellent service and was very friendly, professional, and attentive. She made sure everything was taken care of and made our visit even more enjoyable. Really appreciate her hospitality and great customer service. Thank you, Nisha! Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience at Montana’s in Nisku tonight. Our server, Val, was fantastic! Even after coming off a very busy rush, she arrived at our table cheerful, personable and genuinely friendly. She took our family’s order efficiently and made sure everything was delivered just right. We truly appreciated her pleasant attitude and excellent service. Thank you, Val—you did a wonderful job!

Montana's is my kids favorite place to dine, if they had to choice, it would be Montana's every time. So we decided to try a different location this day because we are so used to the other 2 locations closer to home and this was the next in line. When we arrived we saw that it was in a hotel but we went along just the same. Upon arrival we stopped at the entrance where there was a sign that said please wait to be seated. We stood there and no one came for a while, eventually someone came and she said "how may I help you?" My husband and I looked at each other because we were use to welcome to Montana's and would like a table for ...... we did not answer. She then said table for 4, we said yes and took up 4 menus walked to the table put the menus down and left. We were surprised again as in having been to Montana's many times we were use to a much better customer service. We waited for someone to come over to our table and eventually got our food. The food was ok but the service was horrible and I would never go back. We did get the feeling you get whenever you go into a Montana's
