  I’ve shopped at Save-On-Foods many times over the years, especially when I visit nearby stores and salons. Whenever I get my hair done at COBIA, I often stop here afterward to pick up groceries or a few things I need. The store is usually clean, organized, and easy to shop in. I also had a great experience with customer service regarding a gift card I had purchased as a gift. It turned out the card had not been activated properly, and they were very kind and helpful in resolving the issue. I’ve always had positive experiences here and appreciate the friendly service.

  As I was picking up hot food from the deli tonight, I got told I couldn’t purchase because the deli was closed… so the employee would rather throw the food in the garbage then let a customer purchase it.

  Excellent store, great selection, terrible parking. This is my go-to grocery store in Fort McMurray. I can typically find everything I need here, minus a few specific items I have to get from elsewhere, but overall, great selection. Sometimes, this location lacks fresh produce, but that is expected for a store 4+ hours from the city. Where this store really lacks, is the parking. With multiple other businesses sharing the same parking lot, it is very difficult to find parking anytime, any day. Despite having a huge, multilevel parkade, let’s all be honest. Nobody wants to wheel a shopping cart down there in the dead of winter.
