I am writing because of the deplorable customer “service” I received for a hair in my child’s sandwich on Friday, June 26, 2026. I called the store the next day and a lovely young lady told me her the owner would call me (Sunday, June 27, 2027). They didn’t call me. I recalled on tjr Monday, and I was SCREAMED at by a woman who told me “you bring me proof,” of a hair, “you bring me sandwich, and I replace”. First of all, we went to your shop because I couldn’t make my child’s own meal at home. Second, when you speak to your customers, do you know what they are going though? Of course not. My mum, my disabled special needs child’s grandmother was in hosital and had several emergency surgeons that day. Did I keep a sandwich o bought on Friday with a hair in it, to show you on Sunday when I could finally call you? NO! How dare you treat me so poorly. That was birthday money my little boy got from a friend. We were served a human hair on your sandwich from your shop. I have the bill as I told the woman on the Sunday and Monday. I still haven’t had the owner call me. I am contacting subway Canada. You clearly shouldn’t be authorized to run a chain when you’re incapable of providing quality customer service. I have also contacted the province, as I believe you are well overdue for a health and safety inspection. A hair in my kid’s sandwich is one thing, but slimy lettuce when he’s picking out his toppings indicate to me how poorly your store is being run.

The service here was abysmal. There was no greeting, no emotion, and the staff was straight-up rude. I specifically asked for double meat, and even after asking multiple times and emphasizing that I wanted extra, the staff member barely added any. My advice: if your job is this hard and you clearly hate it, find something else to do.

Around 6:20 PM, a girl served me when I ordered the Italian B.M.T., since it was the meal of the day. I was being polite and saying “please” and “thank you.” She started preparing the sandwich by putting the bread out, but then continued doing other side duties even though there was still bread available. I understand if she was busy or out of bread, but that didn’t seem to be the case. I also asked for the lettuce to be added first, but she insisted on putting the tomatoes instead and didn’t really follow how I wanted my sandwich prepared. Overall, I was disappointed with the service. Her name tag also wasn’t visible at the front, so I wasn’t able to identify who served me. The girl at the cashier, however, was very nice.
