Pasta options have something for everyone, but it comes at a cost. It's pretty expensive considering it's a chain restaurant. If you're looking for fancy/classic Italian, I'd probably avoid it. But if you're craving fast Italian-style eats, this might be your spot.
We recently visited Olive Garden in Edmonton and had a mixed experience overall. Some dishes were definitely highlights, while others were just average.
We started with the Shrimp Fritto Misto, which was very good and probably one of our favourite appetizers of the meal. We also tried the new chicken bites. Unfortunately, these were not as enjoyable as we expected. They were advertised as spicy, but we found them to be much too sweet and lacking the spicy flavour we were expecting.
The Gnocchi Soup was very good, and the salad was fresh and enjoyable. The breadsticks, as usual, were wonderful and one of the reliable highlights of an Olive Garden meal.
For our main courses, the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo was excellent—creamy, flavourful, and one of the best dishes we ordered. However, the Shrimp and Chicken Carbonara was fairly average and did not particularly stand out.
We also ordered pizza and fries from the kids’ menu, which were decent but fairly average.
Overall, our experience was little above average, with a few dishes that were definitely a hit. The service and overall atmosphere were pleasant, and we would return to try some other menu options.
Didn't want to wait for a table in the restaurant so we sat at the bar in the lounge. The bartender Chelsea was very busy but still took our drink orders and food orders.Always informing us she was going in the back to check our orders. The soup was delicious i couldn't pronounce it gnocchi. The shrimp appetizer was truly tasty. My friend's seafood Alfredo she said was delicious and I had shrimp Alfredo that was excellent. They didn't skimp on anything. The total bill including drinks without tip was just over 100.00 which I thought was suffice.

Had a reservation booked for 1pm Saturday. About 10 of us. We were told on arrival it’s a max two hour window, basically you get tossed out after 2 hours. Booked the reservation online and there is NOTHING mentioned about the window. 2 hour window isn’t a huge issue but we had family coming in from Airdre and they were late. If we got sat at 1, the “clock started” we were told. This restaurant wasn’t even half full.
Update your website reservation details please. Food was good. One server we had you could tell it wasn’t her day, the male server was great. Forget their names unfortunately.
Picture of the parking lot at 1pm.
Is this stopping us from coming back? No, could the staff had handled this must better? Yes

We were craving Italian cuisine and decided to give this restaurant a try. We’re so glad we did! We truly enjoyed our Sunday dinner and had a wonderful overall experience.
Our waiter, Yuyu, was fantastic—friendly, entertaining, and very knowledgeable. She provided excellent suggestions and took the time to explain the different dishes, which made choosing our meal much easier.
Jocelyn was also incredibly pleasant, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our dinner. Both were wonderful and added a warm, welcoming touch to our experience.
It was a pleasure meeting such lovely people. Thank you, Yoyo and Jocelyn, for making our Sunday dinner so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be happy to come back! 🇮🇹✨
