  This store shouldn’t be operating 24 hrs if there’s always half to an hour wait time at 8 in the morning.

  I’m convinced most of the good ratings are the workers making new accounts and putting 5 stars. Store is very disorganized and slow to getting to food and customers, some workers (maybe 2) have shown me good manners but the team overall needs training on attending to customers and being polite. Specifically not just once but multiple times the worker Ghie hasn’t shown the best manners, if hope good customer service methods can be taught at the store

  Drive thru didn’t work but that’s not the issue. The wait time is so ridiculous. There was maybe 6 customers in there but we waited for an average of 15 minutes per order. Staff kept standing and chatting at the back which was amazing to see.

  Stop in to buy some lunch here and all they have are self serve kiosks. Put my order in and go to pay and they have a $0.25 bag charge on it. I did not need a bag nor want a bag. There is no option to remove that charge, so in order to get your meal you have to pay the bag charge. Feels like this is nothing more than a way to generate profit from forcing customers to take a bag.

  Avoid this place as they will legitimately steal your money. I placed the order on 29/May/2026 at 5:35 PM MST for a pick up order. The order was to be ready for pick up for 6:15 PM MST at the 10021 - 178th Street location in west Edmonton. The order was not ready at that time, in fact I and several other customers were waiting in the lobby, waiting to speak to an employee, as no one was at the till, as they were only concerned with the drive through traffic and the 3rd party delivery guys picking up orders. . A gentleman before me asked for a phone number in order to file a formal complaint. I thought how ridiculous, they are doing what they can. I’ll wait patiently and they will get me my order. How mistaken I was. At 6:51 PM MST, after being told that they were waiting for the tenders, I requested my order to be cancelled and my money refunded, in this case $86.00. The manager asked if I could just wait a little longer as if the order was not already 40 minutes late. I advised her again that I want a refund. She then informs me that she cannot issue it because I ordered through the app and therefore I had to wait for the app to reimburse me. This, as of 12/June/2026 has not happened. Effectively KFC has stolen my money as she obviously did not process my refund. Two full weeks later and no refund. The entire time, that I spent waiting there, a person who was obviously intoxicated kept coming in and helping themselves to whatever they could find. The employees would know this if they ever came out to the front of the store. I could hear them preparing orders for tenders, and unbeknownst to me, they were not for my prepaid and preorders meal, but for the drive through. I know this because they would call out “14 tender order”. Unbelievably frustrating and disappointing that you have people like this potentially pocketing the money and saying that they refunded the charge. At this point, KFC needs to make this right.
