Very VERY slow service!!!!, I shouldn't be waiting 10 minutes for two snack wraps. defeats the purpose of calling it fast food. Reason for 1 star overall.

This location has gradually been going more and more downhill over the last year. I love Dairy Queen and always frequently visit this location. At least 2 to 3 times per week for my favourite burger, the Flamethrower. I go less and less now because I just can’t stand having to drive all the way back again after I’ve gotten home to find that something from my order is missing or incorrect. Just to drive home and eat my now cold burger. I never had these issues before at this location prior to around a year or so ago. Drive-through staff is always so friendly. The usual 2 gentleman working the window are great. But they usually aren’t the ones packing the bags. Something is going on behind the scenes. New employees working in the backend that just don’t care? Or are too distracted by something or by each other? Or can’t read the orders? Or just haven’t been sufficiently trained? But when 9 out of 10 visits result in me returning back for something that is missing or wrong, there’s something wrong with how the place is being run or with the employees that they hired who pack the bags. In the case of the food, I have also noticed a slight decline in the food quality as well. The flamethrower doesn’t taste quite the same. It’s still satisfactory enough for me to keep coming back though. However, the fries have had a large decline. Though it could just be from not eating them fresh after returning to the store each time. I always raved that the fries were some of the best in the city. Always perfectly fried. Lately they are always greasy and soggy. If I wanted soggy, I would visit McDonald’s. I made my concerns quite vocal on my last visit returning for a missed item. I do apologize to the gentleman at the window as I came in a bit hot. He is always so nice and it likely wasn’t his fault so he didn’t deserve the brunt of it, but I finally lost it. I likely won’t be back to this location until the owner has dealt with his staff issues. I will be making the drive back to Watt Common to give them my business instead.

Whomever owns this franchise location should be aware of how poorly it is run. One of the first times I went in was to purchase gift cards. This happened in June. They only had Christmas gift cards, so I asked if there were other options and was told the Christmas ones were fine. I of course went elsewhere. There have been a handful of times I have tried to take the kids in, just to be met with “our ice cream machine is down”. Today, I went in and tried to purchase a gift card and was told they no longer sell gift cards but they do accept them. Literally every time I have attempted to go here, it has not gone to plan. I don’t know who is trying to manage this, but they clearly are not capable.

Service staff was very rude. Ordered a burger and fries from here. Burger was undercooked and somehow burnt tasting at the same time, and the sauce was off. The Pepsi I had was flat, and the fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil. I went through the drive through after waiting what felt like an entirenity to get my food, only to go in and ask the staff to fix the order only to be met with a glare and a snide remark about the food. Was put off by this.

Went in to buy food, decided not to, the lady working/preparing the food has her hair down to her waist. Yes it was in ponytail but still it's not tied up. That is food safety concern.
