They aren’t more expensive etc.. just wanted to leave as happy customers. Debated for 10 minutes in the drive thru line up. Not happy at all

Mostly concerned about the lack of a screen that you don't touch in the drive thru, instead they give you a sheet of laminated paper that looks like it's been through it. I'm sure they wipe it down but... Why bother? It's also not very accessible, font is too small and light gray text is not high contrast, so for those who need glass for reading small text, maybe consider going inside instead.

I don’t know whether the customer-service culture I experienced today is specific to this location, part of the company’s training, or maybe even an Alberta thing, but I can genuinely say that I have never received better service at a fast-food restaurant—and that includes the service I’ve experienced at many full-service independent restaurants. What impressed me most was the team. These young Canadians, from so many different backgrounds, were incredibly welcoming, respectful, friendly and engaged. The smiles were genuine. Everyone seemed to know what needed to be done, and they weren’t simply standing behind a counter doing the minimum. They were paying attention, anticipating problems and going above and beyond. As I’m writing this, I literally just watched an employee walk outside into the drive-through lanes to deliver orders to waiting cars. When one vehicle was holding up the line and the cars behind it already had their food, the team opened another lane so those customers could get out. Nobody had to ask. They saw a problem and solved it. That’s another level of customer service. And this may sound a little sentimental, but as an immigrant who came to Canada about 20 years ago and has spent my adult life building a life here, the experience actually meant something to me. It reminded me of the Canada I encountered when I first arrived—the friendliness, professionalism, work ethic and sense that people took pride in doing their jobs well. Seeing young Canadians from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds carrying those same standards forward genuinely made me happy. Canada has changed enormously over those two decades, and today, for a little while, I felt close again to the country I remember—the country that changed my life. Maybe it’s Alberta. Maybe it’s this restaurant. Maybe it’s this particular team. Whatever they’re doing here, they’re doing something very, very right. Absolutely exceptional staff and customer service.
