We’ve come in a couple of times, and the food is absolutely amazing, but we’ve never been blown away by the service. The first time we came in we thought maybe the server was having an off day, but the second time we came it was the same story. Our servers didn’t really check on us during our visit, they brought us our drinks and food but that was it. Our drinks ran empty, and we weren’t offered water or a refill either time, which felt odd because honestly the food can be a little spicy. 5 stars for the food — 2.5 for the service/atmosphere as it can also get a little loud - but there’s not much that can be done about that. I’m sure we will give it another try, hopefully third time we receive better service?

What a shame. We made a reservation today for 6 guests at 2:00 pm and arrived 5 minutes early. We also had a 4-year-old child with us.
The only seating options offered to us were a high-top table or the patio, which was dusty and completely empty. We could clearly see several booths available, but when we asked about them, the host simply told us we could not be seated there. There was no explanation that they were reserved or unavailable.
It’s basic common sense that a 4-year-old cannot safely or comfortably sit at a high-top table. Rather than trying to accommodate us or offer a reasonable alternative, we were essentially turned away, so we left.
Staff should be properly trained to handle situations like this, especially when families with young children have made reservations in advance. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be coming back.

Had a really great experience at Blanco Cantina! The food was delicious, with lots of flavour and a good variety of options on the menu. Everything we ordered was tasty and nicely presented, and the portions were satisfying.
The atmosphere was fun, lively, and casual, which made it a great place to enjoy a meal and spend time with friends or family. The service was also friendly and attentive without being overwhelming.
Overall, Blanco Cantina is a great spot if you’re looking for good Mexican inspired food, a fun atmosphere, and a nice dining experience. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely come back again!

My spouse and I visited with our kids to celebrate our anniversary and were looking forward to a casual dinner experience. Shortly after being seated, our server came to the table and took our order. We ordered a round of drinks, chicken nachos, and tacos. The server did not ask us what brought us there, just proceeded to come to the table and inquire if we were ready.
Unfortunately, the chicken nachos were very disappointing. They arrived as a soggy, messy dish, and we were unable to eat even half of them because the chips quickly became saturated by the queso sauce. When we mentioned this to our server, they indicated that this is a common issue with the queso sauce. If this is a known concern, it would have been appreciated if customers were advised before ordering. At $27, these were among the poorest-quality nachos I have experienced. If queso sauce is used so generously, a sturdier chip is needed to maintain the dish's quality.
I also ordered a lime Bulldog cocktail. While the serving size was smaller than I expected, I understand that presentation and portion sizes can vary between establishments. The drink itself tasted fine; however, as I turned the glass, I noticed dried strawberry mix residue from a previous beverage on the inside of the glass. This immediately raised concerns about cleanliness and prevented me from finishing the drink.
Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience. The quality of the food, combined with the apparent lack of attention to cleanliness, left us with little confidence in ordering anything further. As a result, we chose to leave and went elsewhere for dessert and additional food.

Wow. I've been meaning to check this place out and haven't had the chance, but we decided to try it through Uber today. My spouse got a (truly humongous) burrito, while I got tacos. I asked for everything to be as mild as possible and I was really appreciative that they delivered - a warmth but not spicy. The shrimp tacos are amazing. I wouldn't even let my partner have a bite they were too good! I'm going to have dreams about them. I wish we'd snapped a photo but we dive right in it was so delicious. We will definitely be ordering again.
I'll also say that I'm shocked by the poor reviews - but looking at their review history some hate every taco place they go to for years. 🤦🏻♀️
