Had a great experience at Mr. Sub! The subs were fresh, filling, and made exactly how I wanted. The ingredients tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and everything was prepared really well. The staff were also friendly and provided great service.
Definitely a great spot when you’re craving a good sub. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mr. Sub was absolutely mouth-watering and delicious! I got the Italian Sub with added bacon, and it did not disappoint. The bread was fluffy and fresh, and the staff was quick and efficient when taking and preparing my order.
I also really appreciated the attention to cleanliness and food safety. After taking my payment, they changed their gloves before handling the next gentleman’s food. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean as well.
And they even went the extra mile and made my bacon extra crispy just the way I like it! 🥓🙌 Great food, great service, and great attention to detail. I’ll definitely be back!
Today was my third visit to this Mr. Sub location, and I am officially hooked. The team here provides exceptional customer service every single time. I ordered the steak sub with queso cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. Perfectly made and full of flavor—I’ll definitely be back again soon!

I’ve now been to the new Mr. Sub in Drumheller twice, and unfortunately both experiences were disappointing.
The first day they were open, they were already out of steak and the staff seemed completely unprepared and unsure how to make the subs. There was one person training three employees while the restaurant was already open, which seemed like something that should have been done before opening to the public. The Cubano I ordered was okay, but the overall experience was not great.
I decided to give them another chance 22 days later, but unfortunately things didn’t seem much better. While we were there, an employee was speaking very loudly to another employee in the dining area that I thought they were arguing. Either way they shouldn’t have been doing that in the dining area.
When we went to order, they were out of Mediterranean Greek buns and sautéed vegetables. They ended up making the vegetables while we waited and barely sautéed any vegetables. The employees still seemed unsure of how to assemble the subs and struggled putting them together. I wasn’t asked what type of cheese I wanted—only whether I wanted cheese—and white cheese was put on without asking. I also wasn’t asked whether I wanted my sub toasted.
The biggest concern, however, was food-handling. An employee handled the till and the bank card reader while wearing gloves and then went straight back to making subs without changing their gloves. That is a basic food-safety issue and was particularly concerning to see.
I understand that a new restaurant needs some time to get things running smoothly, and I was willing to give them a second chance. But after 23 days, I expected to see some improvement in training, preparation, and basic food-handling practices. Hopefully they can get their staff properly trained and improve these issues, because the restaurant has the potential to be a good addition to Drumheller.
