- BHBill Hamill2 days ago5.0Stopped in after the rush on Friday night. The place was not too busy and as we were not very familiar with the menu we had a lot of questions. Our server, Cole, had all the answers. There were two of us and we told Cole what kind of dishes we liked. He was incredibly informative and suggested a few dishes he thought we might enjoy. We had 2 happy hour appetizers: soup dumplings and Bang Bang Shrimp, both of which were delicious. For main dishes we had the Truffle & Shrimp Rigatoni which was great and the Royal Bangkok Bowl with chicken which was spicy but not overly so. While we enjoyed the food the service was even better. Cole checked in on us a few times but not too much. He was quick to get us whatever we needed. He has an engaging personality and clearly enjoys making his customers happy. We highly recommend State & Main both for the food and the service. The cost was roughly $40 per person plus tax and a good, well deserved tip.

My partner received his soup with no spoon and had to ask for one. We waited quite a while for our bill. Not sure if they were short staffed on the bar side. It was only 1/4 full. Usually the service is really good, so I was surprised. The food was very good. I ordered the steak salad, which isn't on the menu anymore but you can ask. My partner ordered the hamburger which he said was very good as well, and he is a foodie! So that says a lot. The atmosphere is great. Will be back!

The food was absolutely great, but what truly sets this location apart is the incredible team working here.Our waitress, Chloe, was so nice, welcoming, and helpful. She gave us excellent drink recommendations and helped us navigate the menu to find exactly what we were in the mood for. Down at the bar, Alex the bartender was incredibly friendly and crafted some of the best cocktails we have ever had!We truly love this restaurant and the amazing people who work here. Thank you for another fantastic night out—State & Main remains our go-to spot!
