The majority of the staff is very good there but I am constantly told to use the flipp app. I have never had a problem before with the price match but this morning I went in and I was buying cat food and the woman at the self checkout said I could only buy four cans when I had five at the competitor's price. When I showed her the comparable price, she told me that they do not accept an online price. Either you accept a price match or you don't, and I have never been told that you're only allowed a certain amount of a purchase. Extremely disappointed, and as far as I'm concerned, it's false advertising. I'll definitely think twice before going in there to purchase anything or telling anybody to go purchase anything there again.

Everyone is super friendly and they have the BEST tuna sandwich in town. Prices are average but better on Tuesday

Most expensive by far, and when I have no other choice I’ll grab something “on sale” and at the self check out it comes up regular price. And good luck finding an employee for help.

Beth at the Starbucks in store is absolutely amazing. She works hard, gets it right every time, and is always friendly. I look forward to getting my coffee here because of her.

I'm tired. I worked a long day. My health isn't the best and yet, I have to explain what happened at Save On Foods tonight. I'm disgusted with the horrible treatment both I and another older gentleman received at this location. Half of my career has been in the grocery industry and the other half as a retail Jeweller. Things sure have changed a lot in Canada over the last little while but there are still some fundamentals as to how I and a client...how PEOPLE should be treated. The only 2 staff membrs at this location didn't even come close to being professional. I arrived a little late tonight on my way home to get milk for my morning coffee. I always feel bad when this happens but I arrived literally 5 minutes before closing. As I quick walked across the parking lot, a gentleman yelled at me "We close in 3 minutes". He interrupted me as I am rushing to get in the store because I already am aware of the closing time....the irony. So, I make my way directly to the milk and then to the only available til. From there I hear what I assume was the key holder (the same person who yelled at me in the parking lot) and he is now yelling at another client down one of the Isles. He says and I quote "Hey, we are closing...are you buying something. Could you hurry up?". I was put off by this. Then, the young female cashier started arguing with the older gentleman at the front of my line. She is complaing that we are all in the store late and that they were closed. The customer said he's not coming back. At this point, in 40 years of retail I don't think I've experienced 2 people with a worse attitude on the same staff. Clients pay their wages. I only spent $7 for milk but that older gentleman had spent a lot more. That's still not the point. After I sternly told the young lady that sometimes staying late is part of your job. I told her she had no idea how lucky she was that she had employment but of course she reacted with a typical teenage scowl and actually told me I was being rude. I paid cash. I had my hand out for the change and she literally slapped my change on the counter. Then she was starring at me. I had to ask for her receipt. Gosh, Save On Foods, you can do much better. Who does your hiring and...ahem, training? I don't see much hope for this young girl and what I assume what is a key holder. I can't imagine he's been trained as a manager. If I were the store manager, I would terminate the both of them. I don't state that lightly but some people have no appreciation for their employment and no empathy for the hard working people that choose their store to spend their money. This was one of the worst examples of poor customer service I've seen and unfortunately, I've seen a lot. I will not be shopping at Save On Foods again. I felt it important to share this experience with the good folks of this neighborhood. Paul
