  Absolutely Horrible service! With one question asked I was greeted with the most undesirable attitude from a employee, I have had in a long time. To purchase an item that I can purchase anywhere for between $1.99 to $2.49 I was being charged $4.50 per item. The markup is extraordinary here. If you have a save on foods membership card then you get the pleasure of buying two for the normal price of $2.49 a piece or 2 for $5.00... Otherwise $8.80 for two... $5.00 max Anywhere else. 🤔 Please be patient with the staff here. They seem to be under a lot of pressure. Thank you for YOUR cooperation.... .

  A very tiny produce section - not used to seeing prices higher than Yellowknife, NWT in the south. Super helpful staff 👌 offered to help bag groceries - haven't seen that since the 90s

  The absolute worst self-serve checkout in a grocery store that I have been in. My cloth bags are constantly setting off the sensors and having to call somebody over at least 3 to 4 times during my transaction. That being said there's no one actually over here so I keep having to bug them from the lottery station and wait. Horrible service.

  I recently purchased ahi tuna from Save-On-Foods and, before the expiry date, I noticed that it had a strong off-putting smell and was clearly spoiled. At the time, I was unable to locate my receipt, and since the receipt states that the original receipt is required for a return, I believed I had no way to return the product. After finally finding my receipt, I returned to the store within the 14-day satisfaction guarantee period. However, because the product had passed its expiry date by then, the store refused to provide a refund. I also contacted customer service, only to have another store manager call me and repeat the same response. I don't believe I should be out the cost of the product due to a quality issue that was not my fault. I asked if an exception could be made, especially since I was later informed that my purchase could have been looked up using my Save-On-Foods rewards number. If that is the case, the receipt should not state that the original receipt is required for returns. This experience has been extremely disappointing. With a No Frills in the same plaza and Chalo FreshCo just a block from my home, I will be reconsidering where I do my grocery shopping in the future.
