  I bought a quesadilla here a few days ago. It had a gross amount of cheese and very little beef. I really didn’t like it.

  Very clean restaurant and the staff are very sweet. Both employees were meticulous at ensuring our order was perfect. Big portions of food, for what you pay, and all ingredients are very fresh. (The chicken was real pieces of meat, not formed chunks like other restaurants). Their burritos are huge, so they definitely live up to their name. The bowls are just as delicious and the food tastes like authentic Mexican cuisine. I will definitely be returning for more!

  Just happened to park near a store and I'm so glad I did! The food was delicious and fresh. The staff were lovely as well, So polite. My uncle dropped his fork outside and the staff member who wasn't making my order picked up another and went to give him a new one. So nice of her! When I am back here I will about be back to this store!

  Extremely serious allergy and food-safety concern. I visited Mucho Burrito on September 1 between approximately 12:15 PM and 12:30 PM. I specifically said NO EGGS because I am allergic to eggs. Despite this, the employee added burrito sauce to my burrito bowl and told me there were no eggs in it, without properly checking whether the sauce was safe for my allergy. The sauce contains egg. For someone with an egg allergy, this is not a minor mistake. It could cause a serious allergic reaction and potentially send someone to the hospital. What concerned me even more was how the situation was handled after I pointed it out. Instead of immediately discarding the contaminated bowl and preparing a completely new one, the employee started hand-picking ingredients off the top and tried to give me the same burrito bowl back, saying he had removed the sauce. I could still visibly see sauce on the food, and it had already seeped into the ingredients. I repeatedly explained that I needed a NEW burrito bowl because of my allergy. His attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, and he eventually threw the bowl away in an unacceptable manner. Food allergies need to be taken seriously. Removing visible ingredients does not make contaminated food safe. Staff handling allergy requests should understand cross-contact and should never assure a customer that something is allergen-free without properly verifying the ingredients. I will also contact Alberta Health Services, and AHS will be looking into this incident. Management should investigate what happened during this time period, review any available footage, and ensure employees receive proper allergen and food-safety training. This could have had very serious consequences. I also have video evidence of how this incident was handled, and I will be providing it to the appropriate authorities as part of my complaint. I will also contact Alberta Health Services, and AHS will be looking into the matter.
