- DKD KAug 29, 20262.0The food was what you would typically expect from Harvey’s, but unfortunately, the overall experience at this location was disappointing. The dining room and washrooms were noticeably dirty and appeared to receive very little attention. It really makes you wonder about the cleanliness behind the counter when the front-of-house areas are being neglected. We were eventually greeted by an employee who came over to take our order, but after a moment of hesitation, she simply walked away. Thankfully, another employee came by shortly afterward, seemed equally confused by what had happened, and was apologetic and helpful in getting our order sorted out. The food itself was fine, but cleanliness and customer service matter. If a restaurant can’t maintain the areas customers can see, it naturally raises concerns about how well things are being maintained where customers can’t see. Eat here if you must, but based on our experience, I would think twice about returning to this location.

It was right after 10am opening: probably wasn’t a customer: either Swiss Chalet or Harvey’s employee: No one bothered to open a door to help that. Didn’t order that day lost my appetite: Second time a couple weeks ago ordered and sat down: manager proceeded to use a fly zap racket to kill flies in the restaurant: resulting in them being binged around the entire restaurant including the food prep area and dining area. I told him you may be flinging bugs into peoples food and he just said ‘oh I better be careful’ yet kept binging flies all over with the racket. You think they would do that before opening the restaurant in the morning before food is prepped etc: It grossed me out so bad I’ll never be back there. Shame, I did enjoy their veggie burger.

Came here for years before and it seems a group of Asian friends work here now and speak a different language between each other which is pretty rude while im standing waiting 20 minutes for my combo #2. Five people after me got their food before me. Not recommended
