- DNDariia N3 days ago1.0Very disappointing experience I ordered a burger with pickles, but instead of pickles, I received tomato. I absolutely hate tomato in burgers, so this was very disappointing. I had to take the burger home and replace the tomato with pickles myself. The burger was also completely cold, even though it was packed in insulated packaging. I live only about 5 minutes from this location, so there is no way it should have gotten this cold that quickly. The fries were even worse. I had to throw them away because they were soft and soggy, almost as if they had been boiled. I’ve visited this location many times before, and the fries have always been fresh and crispy, so I was especially disappointed this time. I always leave a tip, even when I’m taking my food to go, but this time I honestly don’t know what I was tipping for. I had to go home, fix my burger myself, and heat it up. This was a really frustrating experience. I’m very disappointed, especially because I’ve been here before and normally have a much better experience.

While the food was fine, my dining experience was completely ruined by unacceptable staff behavior. A staff member sitting directly behind us during her break removed her shoes and put her feet up on the chair in the main customer dining area. This is extremely unhygienic and completely against basic food safety and customer service standards. I hope management takes this hygiene issue seriously and reviews the store's security footage to address it with the employee involved.

Around 3:48 this afternoon, we decided to pick up a large order of fries to enjoy with our homemade BBQ bison burgers. In the past, a large order of fries from Five Guys has been incredibly generous, often enough to fill the bag with extra fries. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience today. The fries seemed overcooked, there were far too many small end pieces, and the portion was noticeably smaller than what we've come to expect. Perhaps the regular manager or staff were away for the holiday Monday, but whatever the reason, it was a disappointing visit. Five Guys has built a reputation for generous portions of fresh fries, which is one of the reasons we chose them. Today, however, they fell well short of that reputation. It left us wondering whether they were short on potatoes, had a new cook, or if quality control simply slipped. We're disappointed enough that next time we may give The Burger's Priest a try instead to see how their burgers and fries compare. Anthony
