  Dairy Queen Grill & Chill Douglas Square has gone significantly downhill under the new ownership. The difference in both service and overall quality compared to the previous owner is very noticeable—and not in a good way. Service is now extremely poor. Orders take far longer than they should, even during times that aren’t particularly busy, and the drive-thru experience has become frustrating and chaotic. The entire operation feels very disorganized, with staff seeming overwhelmed and uncoordinated. In my experience, the drive-thru staff repeatedly told me to “hold on” because of how disorganized things were behind the scenes. When it finally came time to place my order, the employee could not properly understand what I was ordering and repeatedly got the order wrong despite multiple attempts to clarify it. The experience became so frustrating that I eventually just left without ordering anything at all. Ironically, the location always appears busy now, but it doesn’t seem to be because of increased demand—it’s because customers are stuck waiting excessively long for food and service. The restaurant also no longer feels nearly as hygienic or well maintained as it once did. Under the previous ownership, the location felt cleaner, more organized, and much more professionally run. Now, the overall experience feels sloppy and inconsistent. While Dairy Queen is usually known for being a dependable and straightforward fast-food option, this location unfortunately misses the mark in nearly every area. Between the poor communication, disorganization, long delays, declining cleanliness standards, and overall lack of professionalism, this is no longer a location I would recommend.

  HORRIBLE location!!! We ordered through UberEats and were missing items. When we called the store to inquire about this issue, the staff member we talked to was INCREDIBLY rude and told us "it's not his problem, he's not fixing it, and to get over it." The items we did receive were half full, barely any toppings, and overall terrible quality. We used to be frequent customers as we live in the area, but we certainly will not be returning or ordering from this location again.

  I’ll give 2 star cause we ordered one banana with ice cream something and the banana was raw..does o taste good while eating and very hard could not even cut with spoon.

  don’t know what happened to their burger patties recently, but that is the most rubbery, processed burger I have ever eaten. The beef has a weird texture now, and it tastes completely different from the many burgers I’ve had from this location before. It has a very processed taste. The grill taste is GONE. I’ve had two orders now and it’s been the same both times. Think I’m done with DQ, I’ll have try another location to see.- May 13th response to DQ. I never said it wasn’t fresh. I said you changed the patty completely. The grill taste is gone, the flavor is mute, and the meat has a rubbery texture. I came by again today for another, thinking maybe third time is a charm but it wasn’t. Makes no difference to me your claims. It’s just an unappetizing burger now and it is extremely unfortunate as it used to be my favorite.

  Abysmal establishment... If I can even call it that because it seems more like a circus. First off the most people who work there are constantly horsing around and being extremely unprofessional, flirting with co-workers, ignoring customers who are clearly in line for upwards of 15 minutes, and serving undercooked meat. Not to mention the non existent comprehension skills to taking the orders 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️.
