After 2 dinners there over the years we only go for Margaritas and Chips. We ended up on the patio tonight and saw that it was half price tacos so decided to give it a go along with the chips and guac. I’m glad the 6 tacos we had were half price because I would have been miffed if we’d paid the full $33 for this platter of fail. Chicken Tinga - bland and only saved by hot sauce. Baja Shrimp - could taste the slaw and nothing else. Garlic Mushroom - it was a mushroom, false advertising on garlic. Pork - so dry it was left half uneaten. Ground beef - sad taco of meat left in a school cafeteria warmer for hours. I don’t understand the seeming complete lack of zing or flavor in their food. It seems like it’s made by someone who has never tasted a great taco. Even the guac which is our standard order needs more lime juice and a pinch of salt. Service was great, Margaritas and Tequilas are top notch and room/patio have great vibe. The food is just so disappointing.
