  Absolutely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time, and it was all because of our server Ryan. From the moment we sat down, he went above and beyond to make the entire night feel special. He was incredibly personable, attentive, funny, and somehow managed to anticipate what we needed before we even had to ask. You can genuinely tell he cares about giving guests an amazing experience, not just doing the job. His recommendations were fantastic, the timing of everything was perfect, and he made the atmosphere feel so welcoming and effortless. It’s rare to find service that memorable these days, but he completely exceeded expectations. A great server can make a good restaurant unforgettable, and that’s exactly what happened here. We’ll absolutely be back, and a huge part of that is because of him. Management should be proud to have someone like that representing their business. 10/10 experience all around. If you work in the industry, come visit ryan! I can't recommend him enough two big thumbs up.

  Brittney served my friends and i last night and the hospitality was amazing. She had jokes sass and roasted us pretty good. Happy hour margaritas are on point but the service itself from all staff from the time we entered was the best. Highly recommend

  The chef knows nothing about genuine Mexican food. Typical Canadian restaurant chain trying to pretend to know and front “authentic Mexican food”. They wouldn’t know a real tequila if it walked in the front door. There are plenty other authentic Mexican food restaurants in Calgary. Pretentious chain restaurant. Don’t bother fake, fake, fake.

  We recently hosted a client event at Añejo for 50 people, and the experience was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The team went above and beyond to make this event seamless, memorable, and truly special. A huge thank you to Tennille, the event manager, who was nothing short of amazing. She helped us with decorating, planning, and every detail in between, making the space feel welcoming, elevated, and perfectly suited for our event. Her professionalism, organization, and calm confidence made the entire process effortless. Our servers, Carman and Anna, were outstanding—attentive, friendly, and incredibly accommodating throughout the evening. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure our guests were comfortable, well taken care of, and enjoying themselves. Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and an exceptional team. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our client event and would highly recommend Añejo for hosting groups or events of any size. We’ll absolutely be back! 🍹✨

  I called in advance to reserve a table. I was told the patio is first come first serve. I asked about their kitchen last call, which is 10:45 on a weekday. I got there at 10 pm just to be told that they can't seat us in the free table that was there. The hostess told us that since it's 10 they won't be able to seat us in the patio with very poor attitude.
