FS continues to reinvent Braidwood and we throughly enjoyed the upscale seafood options whereas Sidecut has unfortunately regressed to just another higher end steakhouse (we are pescatarian). Vibe is casual and comfortable but service still top notch and attentive even during busy holiday service.

But on our last day of staying at the Four Season, we didn't really feel like driving out to Whistler Village for breakfast. It turns out that the name Tavern was misleading to us, the place was full of patio windows and was actually quite lovely and bright even though it was raining outside. My partner chose a breakfast special that includes two eggs, potato hash, breakfast meat or avocado, tomato, toast, croissant, and overnight oats with fruit. I chose the Vegan Avocado Toast with vegan feta. I like my avocado with real freshly cut avocado, so I wasn't really impressed with the avocado mess on the toast. Although the front desk gave the impression that it is a very posh place, but the servers are not trained and french service. It was just basic tavern service, and the good old 'stack all the dirty dishes in front of the customer' scenario.

The wagyu burger was just okay. We enjoyed the oysters here, but they weren't our favorite. Our server was kind and attentive and went above and beyond, bringing us a complimentary dessert to celebrate our special occasion!
