  Original Joe rocks it on the WestBank! misunderstanding on my first read, i thought the place was a japanese paper shoppe named 'origami joe.' So indiscreet is the signage in this stripmall! i ventured in and met Good Cameron and a well.stocked and served full wetbar. Next i was approached by a tall irish Canadian named Aurora who swears she had seen me before. Confusion cleared up, i assured her i was a total stranger and new to the place. Fortunately for me as a new customer the wonderful straight-shooter Vanessa secured a booth and an order of vodka and french onion soup for me. The Soup was fantastic! best i have ever had! the vodka, sip-worthy and an adequate mid-afternoon complement to a bowl of carmelised onions, croutons and cheese! Venturing back one night i met the charming Katy and the late night crew: just as awesome! They suggested food very kindly to complement my vodka nitecaps and Maddie even taught me some local vernacular ( 'i am so dead!') . i regaled them with stories of Prison Santa , sipped in peace , and was even permitted to use the bar plugin to test out my new animatronic Santa doll for christmas. What a great staff here! I cannot forget to mention the unique concoctions from the bar: MonteCristos for all and a dirty shirley too courtesy Kind Kennedy! What novel creations, but i will stick with my vodka neat! Happiness! i have found my hiding depot! And perhaps Lady Aurora was a siren peering into the immediate future.... because now i know she knows me as the regular with the single vodka neat and french onion soup. Thanks for the immediate memories my new bar crew of Origami Joes: you are all stellar human beings and great hospitality champions! The best service and family friendly place in the Okanoggin! Come on down when i am not here, cause i don't like crowds! Origami Joe will serve you right!

  My wife had the crispy chicken sandwich that was great. But the chicken dinner i had was not so great. Drinks were good and the price was a little pricey.

  Ordered a beef dip, it said shaved beef, when I got home took a bite and dam near choked on a chunk of meat, took it apart no shaved beef. This was November 12 at about 11:30 am. I always eat there and never disappointed till now. The food found it's way to the rubbish bin. If I didn't live an hour away I would have brought it back.

  My husband and I stopped in to your restaurant while we were up in Kelowna visiting friends. I’ve been to another original Joe’s and it wasn’t that great so I was a little hesitant. Anyways, the whole experience couldn’t have been nicer. Vanessa was our server and she was funny and very helpful with making recommendations.. The food was great! We will definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Kelowna.!

  Went for dinner with friends and our young kids and had a horrible experience with our waitress Vanessa right from the start. She was rude and seemed to be annoyed with having to serve us. She orovided part of our party at the table with their bill and allowed them to pay but completely neglected to ask the rest of us if we would like ours as well, so after patiently waiting to see if she would come back my husband finally had to stand up and get her attention to request our bills, then she got mad when the tip wasn’t to her satisfaction at the end…Making comments under her breath while still at the table and slamming the debit machine down infront of my friend for her to pay for her bill. The manager came out shortly after to apologize but it didn’t feel all that sincere since the whole time he was trying to excuse her behaviour by saying it was busy and she’s his “best” waitress… I’ve waitressed before for years and never treated customers the way she did busy or not it was completely unacceptable and disgusting. The manager tried offering us $25 dollar gift cards which we politely declined as we will never be returning to this establishment. 0 stars if I could. HIGHLY do NOT recommend.
