  Amazing purchase. A person named Naijo was truly excellent, very polite, and genuinely helped me a lot. He is the best person I have ever seen in a store.

  to that rude girl who works in the kitchen area, nobody come to here just want to see your inelegant face. if you don't want to help, go quit your job and leave there anyway. if you want to be rude, I will way more rude than you. I won't go back to the kitchen area until that human being is fired.

  I was here couple weeks ago, the security guard on shift was very aggressive. I believe it sounds like the one in previous reviews, saying he thinks he’s god. He thinks he can demand respect by being aggressive about it, sounds like the supervisor on maybe the same supervisor who was working. He jumped in, with only the security telling him I swore at him, but how the security came at me was very inappropriate and was trying to be intimidating, demanding he deserves respect, the supervisor on wasn’t even trying to de-escalate the situation but telling me to get out and be gone. I called the manager and he sounded annoyed that I was reporting the situation and how it was dealt with was not appropriate. No security guard should ever try to intimidate anyone especially a woman. I know 2 wrongs don’t make a right, but this security guard has absolutely no de-escalation training, no trauma informed training. I was nervous to be followed by him yelling at me causing a scene. I even asked he just leave me alone numerous times but he kept raising his voice and placing his gloves on like he was going to take me down.

  I visited this Save-On-Foods location today with a friend. I was wearing a jacket, had one hand in my jacket pocket, and was holding my small shopping bag in the other hand, which is completely normal while shopping. An elderly man he worked there suddenly approached me and asked what was in my pocket, implying that I had stolen something. I was very surprised by this accusation. To clear the situation, l immediately took my hand out of my pocket and showed him that / was only holding my bag and nothing else. Even after that, the moment felt uncomfortable and embarrassing. I believe no customer should be accused without any reason or proof. I hope the store continues to ensure a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for everyone.

  Staff at this store are generally quite rude, I'm know this store is in a "rough" area but it takes no effort to be nice to your custoemres. This location carries way too much usa produce but they're trying to be clever by not clearliy idenifying it as such (they do with produce from other countries, why not the usa?) Others have commented on the store selling expired items, I've often noticed they are selling meat a few days past it's best before date. Prices here are quite high and I believe they've changed their points program to award far less points than they used to. I recently checked out the new No Frills store and they will be getting the bulk of my grocery business from now on.
