Over the last couple of months, I have noticed a disturbing trend indicating a serious rat/mouse problem. In August, I was unloading my bags at home and noticed my bread had a hole in the bag, and a corresponding small bite out of the bread loaf. I figured it had to be a mouse, and wasnt even that disturbed as it had never happened before and I assume every grocery store has to have the odd mouse sneak in. But it happened again a week later with burrito wraps..... again, not noticed by me till I was unloading at home. I started to carefully inspect any bread items before purchase while still in store to make sure there were no holes in the bag before putting it in my cart. Two weeks ago I was shopping and saw an actual mouse running across one of the aisles to hide under the shelves. Yesterday, I bought a bag of pasta and noticed as I was putting it in my car that it had been gnawed as well and had holes in it. These holes were clearly bite marks, not a simple tear in the plastic. I don't think I can shop here anymore.

My phone was out of batteries, so I politely asked a man at the customer service desk to check if a particular soup bouillon was gluten free because many contain gluten. He assured me it was without looking it up in any way, and essentially waved me away. It gave me zero confidance, but i bought it anyway. Luckily I checked when I got home because using it would have meant a trip to the hospital for my friend. Overall just a really crap service experience where my concerns and needs were not taken seriously.
