  I’ve tried a lot of pizza places across Greater Victoria, and unfortunately this location consistently ranks among my least favourite. The overall quality feels more like a budget national chain (think very basic, mass-produced pizza) than what I’ve come to expect from Victoria’s independent pizza scene. The crust is usually quite dry, the sauce is bland, and the cheese and toppings are applied very sparingly—it honestly feels measured out to the gram. Even when I’ve asked for “extra cheese” (and paid for it), the amount added is barely noticeable. If you’re looking for generous, flavourful pizza made with care, I personally prefer places like Keating Pizza, Athena’s Place, Hot House Pizza, Peninsula Pizza, or Ali Baba Pizza. Those spots have never left me disappointed. This chain is fine if you just need something cheap and fast, but if quality matters to you, there are much better options nearby.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Absolutely Delicious! I recently enjoyed a pizza here and it was fantastic! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the toppings were incredibly fresh. Every bite had the perfect balance of cheese, seasoning, and texture.

  Billar was fantastic! Thank you so much. Papa John’s needs more employees like him. His customer service was excellent — he was very kind and polite. I had some trouble with my order using the app, but he helped me fix it and made sure my order arrived on time. The pizza was really good too! I highly recommend their customer service — one of the best. Thank you!

  As a self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur who’s tried nearly every pizza shop in Victoria, I can confidently say this chain ranks at the bottom. It’s the local equivalent of Edmonton’s Pizza 73—cheap, filling, and little more—but falls well below even Domino’s in quality. If you’re in Victoria and craving a truly decent pizza, skip this place and head to Keating Pizza, Athena’s, Cosmo Pizza, Hot House Pizza, or Peninsula Pizza, among many others. These spots deliver real flavor and generosity. Here, they meticulously measure every gram of cheese and refuse to add even a pinch more. You deserve better than calculated cheese skimping

  Papa John’s is one of my favorite places for pizza! The food is always fresh, cheesy, and delicious and their sauce is the best. The restaurant is always clean and welcoming, and every employee is so kind and friendly. I sometimes wait there when my bus is late, and they always let me sit inside. The owner is so good, I just love her behavior! She’s always smiling, polite, and even gives me a free side dip with my pizza. Such a warm and friendly place with great food! Thank you so much for wonderful service.❤️
