  I ordered one thing off the value menu, with no orders infront of me in took more 10 minutes. All the workers in there was just talking to each other and one girl had their backpack on the food preparation area too. Super slow service!

  On January 16, 2026 around 5:00 PM, I purchased a pre-made ice cream cake from this location and had a birthday message written on it. I took it home and placed it in my freezer to serve the following night.When the cake was served at my son’s birthday party to seven children (ages 8–11), several immediately commented that it tasted “off” and moldy. There was no visible mold at first, but after my husband and I each took a bite, it was clear the cake had spoiled. I called the store that evening and was told there was no manager available. The employee was polite and later called me back, explaining the manager was out of the country and that a refund had been authorized. I was also given the owner’s phone number. I attempted to contact the owner multiple times, including leaving a voicemail, but never received a response. On Sunday, I contacted Dairy Queen Canada and was told the issue would be addressed within 24 hours. After no follow-up, I called again on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, and was told the matter had been escalated and marked urgent. The assistant manager later contacted me and stated that the only option was a refund and that no other customers had complained about their cakes. This response felt dismissive, especially given that the cake had been served to children and made at least one adult ill. As of today, I have not heard back from the owner or received meaningful follow-up from Dairy Queen Canada. This experience was extremely disappointing, particularly due to the lack of accountability and concern shown. I would strongly caution others about purchasing pre-made cakes from this location. I certainly will not be returning after this matter has been resolved appropriately.

  My favorite stopped for take out specially the one on Douglas is my favorite, the manager is a gentleman and the lady with a smile she is always kind to my son's. I am appreciative of that. Additionally the ambiance is very good. Cleaned store.
