  Wake up, I paid for extra cookie dough added in my two reese blizzards and didnt get it i feel like its happened before. Carelessness, do better.

  I went here after my softball games, excited to get a misty float but I ended up quite disappointed. I ordered a double cheeseburger and a cherry misty float. My dad ordered a small reeses blizzard. When we started our ordered my dad asked if the blizzard had Reese’s cups or Reese’s pieces. The young man working there told us that it was Reese’s pieces. When my dad got the blizzard it turned out to be crushed Reese’s cups. That unfortunately was not the only issue. When I ordered my misty float the gentleman working there seemed quite confused, understandable. I know it’s not the most typical order and attempted to clarify to the best of my ability’s about how it was a misty topped with ice cream. Me and my dad attempted to explain multiple times until we assumed he understood. I also ordered a number 9, which is a double cheeseburger burger which is not what I ended up getting. We went to wait and my dad got his blizzard, not what he was hoping for but we just excused it as a simple mistake. My burger came out next which instead of a double cheeseburger like I ordered, it was a single cheeseburger. Once again I brushed it off as a miscommunication. When my “misty float” came out about 10 minutes later it was not at all what I had requested. It was blended and a very light shade of pink. We had clarified multiple times on how we did not want it blended and yet there it was. At this point I was tired and irritated so I just went to my car. When I tried it, it was extremely bland and didn’t even taste like a typical misty freeze. I didn’t get to enjoy the treat I had been oh so excited for because of the mistake. I would’ve hoped the worker had been new but he actually told us that he’d been there for over 8 months. I hope in the future you can educate your workers on you menu in the future.

  Was very disappointed last night when I received my flame thrower burger. It was not flame grilled/broiled. The patty was more soggy than anything. I go to DQ for their flame thrower and the grilled burger taste and didn’t have that at all. Was extremely disappointed.

  This is the best dairy Queen location I have never been to in my whole life, they take quality service to the next level here and I couldn't be happier. You would think that dairy Queen couldn't be that exciting right? Wrong! This is maybe the best thing that's happened to me in my whole life.

  This review relates to the Oak Bay location. This is a common stop for us after one of the kids’ sports games and that was the reason once again to visit this evening. We have always enjoyed this location, which is why I’ve given three stars instead of the one star experience we had tonight because I don’t want to bring its overall rating down too much. The staff is usually cheerful and the product is usually great but this evening the reception from the woman at the counter was grumpy and the product substandard. After being pressed to order with a clearly impatient tone, my daughter ordered the new seasonal Christmas themed blizzard in her usual polite, friendly tone. She received a curt “sold out” in the dismissive reply, followed by a return of the impatient expression while the staff member awaited the next choice. My daughter then ordered one of the royal blizzards, because she likes the fudge they usually put in the middle. The blizzard was produced, handed over and we left. On the way home in the car, my daughter first had to grab some napkins to wipe copious amounts of ice cream off the handle of the spoon that must’ve been there when it was handed over. That’s never happened before. Then she dug disappointedly to seek out the expected fudge bounty and found what amounted to less than a small spoonful at the bottom of the cup amongst what was already quite soft ice cream. But the better surprise came when we reached home and the lights of our kitchen and she found a long hair emerging from her treat. Gross. Most of it wound up straight in the garbage after that. We like this place, we want to keep liking this place, tonight seemed to be the “B team”. Please do better.
