  There are a blonde server who was not well trained in customer service and who doesn't have the right attitude for this type of work, in my opinion. I don't usually make reviews over restaurant experiences (in fact this is the first one) but it ruined my evening so I'm going to share this. We had our drinks and she had already ordered our food... next time she walked by, my husband said I'll have another beer. She didn't ask anyone else at the table if they wanted anything else but just walked away. So I thought, no problem she's busy, next time I catch her and ask for something too I didn't like my glass of wine ( it tasted stale but I wasn't planning on complaining about that), I was just going to order something else. So she was going by again and I said, "will you please bring my son another drink and I would like... and I went to grab the menu ...and then she was gone. So when a different server brought me another of the first drink, I politely explained to her that I didn't actually want that same drink again. All of that didn't really bother me, but the next part did. Then the blonde girl came back and accused me of pointing to my wine glass and giving her the wrong impression. I said I'm sorry but you didn't let me say anything. She said it accusatory and rude and everyone at my table saw that she actually just walked away and it was her own fault, but what was the point in accusing me? Why come to the table and confront me when I nicely and clearly explained I wanted something else and it was a mistake? It was just uncalled for in the field of work she is in. And another thing, when someone at a table orders a drink, perhaps ask the others' if they want one too? I still tipped her 15 percent as I know she needs to tip out her support staff but the experience wasn't great. I'm a nice person and I can handle bad service but this was just too far.

  We have eaten at this Vernon location a few times now and it just ok. The food lacks flavor overall. Today we came for lunch around 1pm (not too busy). We had Tasha as our server and she was too busy smooching and hugging her boyfriend to offer us good service. We were sat down and she took so long to ask us what we wanted to drink, we had already looked through the menu and 4 of us were able to decide what to eat. The food came out pretty quick. We were done for a little while and I had to ask a different server for our bill. Finally Tasha showed up to take our money...friendly attitude doesn't make up for customers waiting too long for most of the process.

  I hadn't been to OJ's in awhile, I was given a gift card at Christmas and I thought I would give it a go again ( I don't get out much lol ) Great timing on my part, early dinner during Happy Hour, I took advantage of their specials, andddddddddd the prices were so good my wife and I ate way too much. KIRA was extremely attentive to our needs and kept my drinks full and her customer service and smile was a great relief to some places I've been too in the past year. Kira was amazing and she was always around when you needed her, considering how busy they were during happy hour. I will be back sooner than later and will request to sit in her section again., Thanks for making date night fun Kira and great food. ( and yes i spent well over my gift card because her service was great and so was the food)
