My family and I went her, spent almost $300 and the food was not good. Its over priced, the deserts are not good, the burgers are more sauce for the flavor and the fries had a bit too much salt on it. Pop is over priced, the applewood tart was a disppointment. Hope the owners make changes to the pricing and food taste or they wont last long. They had no people in the resturant. Popeyes across the path was getting more people in and out.
Wildlight is nothing short of extraordinary. I’ve eaten and had drinks here 12 times now, and it still never ceases to amaze me. Every single visit has been consistently exceptional, which is rare and speaks volumes about the level of care and talent behind this place.
The staff is incredible across the board, and the bar in particular deserves special recognition. The cocktails are absolutely fire — beautifully crafted, balanced, creative, and memorable every single time. You can tell there is real skill and pride behind every drink that comes out.
The chef is truly exceptional, with an obvious attention to every detail. The food is not only gorgeous to look at, but outstanding in flavor, execution, and presentation. Every dish feels thoughtful, elevated, and intentionally prepared. It is clear that excellence is the standard here, not the exception.
The servers are attentive, polished, and genuinely welcoming. Service always feels warm, professional, and seamless, which only adds to the overall experience.
Wildlight is the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression long after you leave. It is mind-blowing in the best possible way. Run, don’t walk, to this establishment. It is a true gem, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I can’t even put into words how visually appealing this place is. Inside and out it looks aesthetically beautiful. The food is absolutely amazing, it hurts just to eat it because it’s so beautifully put together. I also wanna mention the service, wow is everyone there friendly and polite. I would like to mention my server Dylan who was amazing from the start, checking up on me, not rushing me, and being a very friendly person.
It is my first time in the UBC area and if or when I come back, I will definitely go back here to treat myself

Came with my partner and we tried several dishes that were prepared perfectly by the chef. The sablefish chowder was a huge portion with large pieces of lobster! It was some of the best. We additionally had the squid and although it was quite spicy, the texture was great and the flavour, perfect! Tried the FV duck which was small portion for the price ($45) we ordered a side of mashed potato’s to go with it which was perfect!
Had very kind and attentive service and quickly got our food and drinks. Great experience! Free parking also. Good atmosphere.

Drove all the way from bby to UBC to try this Michellion recommend restaurant. It was busy inside on Friday night but quiet in the heated patio.
Service was nice.
Foodwise especially love the seafood Chowder! Very stuffie and tasty, you will feel half full after finish that. The lamb was very good as well.
Not very happy with the dessert, only tasted sweet but nothing special.
