  There is somehow always a long line and only one person working the till. Why they don’t have self checkout in 2026 is beyond me. They either need more staff or add self checkouts because it’s ridiculous. Prices are also extremely high

  Good selection of products and dedicated staff. We went there for breakfast last week every morning for 3 days and and the lovely lady at the fresh sandwitches and salad section was so helpful and kind and we really appreciated the extra attention from her end.

  Visit on March 15 in the afternoon. I had a disappointing experience at the Nesters Market downtown Vancouver location. When I tried to redeem $10 worth of loyalty points at checkout, the cashier (Cherry) asked me to show identification. I was surprised because I have redeemed points many times before and have never been asked for ID for such a small amount. This also reminded me of a previous interaction with the same cashier. When I purchased a lottery ticket before, Cherry told me that non-residents could not redeem lottery winnings. This was confusing because I had previously redeemed a $1,000 lottery prize without being asked for proof of residency. Because of these repeated experiences, I felt uncomfortable and singled out as a customer. As a newcomer to Canada, interactions like this made me feel unwelcome. I hope the store can review this situation and clarify its policies so customers are treated fairly and consistently.

  Fantastic spot, good variety, good service and a great deli. Ham and cheese were really good!
