  I don’t shop here unless I need one or two items that I missed elsewhere. Not good value and selection isn’t that great. Would be better if they made this location into a PriceSmart. At least the selection of what I actually want to buy would be better. There’s already a Save On at Market Crossing and Metrotown, don’t see why need to put another one at River District. They should also focus on serving the demographic in the area instead of using their one size fits all usual business model. Having said that, it would be nice to see diversity equity and inclusion for your staff, it is off putting that the diversity of clientele are not reflected in people who work at this store (other than the pharmacy). Consider that this will help your business attract more traffic especially in a city like Vancouver. Also consider that service and having a perfectly stocked store is irrelevant without things like better value and selection catered to your customer base. If you continue with your one size fits all business model and homogeneity is the name of your game, don’t open your stores in ethnically diverse neighbourhoods. Its not a surprise grocers like Superstore, T&T, and Costco are so much busier as they know how to stock items that their customers actually want to buy and cater to a wider customer base. And no, having weekly specials on 10% of your products does not justify charging 20% -30% more on the other 90% of your products, especially when the quality is not necessarily 20-30% better than your competitors in things like produce, meats and bakery items. I’m not sure what I am paying extra for - shiny floors and lined up products on the shelves? I personally won’t shop there as I don’t support companies this don’t put DEI as one of the core pillars of their business. I would like to especially note that the shorter Caucasian woman cashier with the dark hair was a displeasure to deal with when returning an item. It should just be simple no hassle return process for an unopened item but she managed to ask a series of questions before processing the return. These people have nothing better to do than to vet a simple return? She had to ask 1) When I purchased the product (just look at the receipt yourself) 2) Reason I am returning (obviously because I no longer need it or charged my mind) 3) If it’s unopened (just look at the product and can determine that yourself). This totally made me feel unwelcomed in the store and therefore will contribute to one of the reasons I won’t be shopping there!

  I come to this store twice a month it's very clean and they have a deli and restaurant lounge to sit and watch tv. But I feel they need to put some air freshener at the lounge because some people have bad hygiene and also for the men's washroom sometimes it's a little messy and the paper towel handle needs to be fixed. And they should spray some freshener in there sometimes.

  I feel I was robbed. 5 items ( simple ceaser salad, 2 sweet potatoes, a tray of veg and 1 lt carton of apple juice.) cost me just over $50. Better to shop at independent in Champlain Square if your on a tight budget.
